Because they were 18-20 when they made CyB. They’re in their 30s now. Not everyone likes to make the same music throughout their career. The band members barely even listen to metal. If u hadn’t noticed. They slowly got softer every album.

@@adizzle7457 I dont get the idea of it being pop BMTH tho, thats the spirit and semp were both more commercially successful than amo, and the only reason people even talk about it being pop was coz of mother tongue, like I don't think the recent stuff is as good as sempiternal or there is a hell but its certainly not terrible pop trash or even particularly close.
