A buthcer shop doesnt sell strip steaks at 9.99 that they bought at cost for 9.49. You dont make money that way. The owner probably could have bumped corey up to 2500 to make it 50/50 for both of them

What's crazy is...these guys aren't that bad. There's some local shops that are really bad. You could walk in with something that could sell for $400 any day on craigslist...and they'll give you $20 tops for it. I've been offered $5 on a $200(used price) microphone. I mean that's...insane. At the end of the day you don't have to take it.

It's NOT a doll,it's a vacuform.It's basically a plastic shell mimicing a doll to reduce the costs instead of making hundreds of real dolls that you only see in the background.It's a smart move from the makers of the movie ;-)

So the expert said 5k and yet the seller asked for more than that amount, is it just me or did he not realize what was just said.
Alex Madsen yes the owner asked for more than 5 grand but the man running the pawn shop only offered 2 grand at the most. the owner did right by refusing that. since the prop expert admitted its worth 5 grand then that's what the men running the store should have offered him at top $$$dollar
@TERMINATOR FAN he didn't "admit" it was worth $5 grand he said it could POSSIBLY go for 5 grand. All in all you'll have to find someone willing to pay that much which the owner wasn't willing.
J.J. still the prop expert saying it's worth around 5k proves its worth more than 2k the owner should have known he cant go into a pawn store and expect to get rich off these collectors items. pawn shops rip you off. he's better off selling it on eBay.

pauly G if you didn't hear 5 grand re watch the tape. the prop expert said it could go for 5 grand at most. the pawn shop owner only wanting to pay 2 grand is to low. if the owner of the doll took the 2 grand for it that doll would be for sale for 5 grand at the pawn shop. garenteed. the man was smart by rejecting 2 grand. prop experts says it can go for 5 grand means it's worth it. so the pawn shop owner should have offered him 5 grand for it but instead tried to rip him off...these replica screen accurate dolls go for 2 grand or more. so a screen used prop is worth a LOT more than three grand.
Mr Brown would've bought it for 2,000$ because he and Chucky would play around Famously!

This is one of those products that I think will INCREASE thousands of dollars in value. Especially with the Chucky TV series and remake coming out. If you got an autograph on it at a horror convention by brad dourif himself, you'd make a killing.

I remember when I was 8 I was terrified of Chucky, I remember seeing the DVDs and VHS of Child's Play 1 2 and 3 at the video rental store. Whenever I saw those I walked away almost instantly, although I actually wanted to watch the movies. I remember seeing Chucky Halloween props at people's houses and stores, they always freaked me out. And then my uncle told me that he would buy me a Chucky doll for Christmas or my birthday, I was scared that I would get one, he told me he would dress him up in a Santa suit and sit him on the edge of my bed. I had nightmares that Chucky would kill me, I remember seeing some Chucky Good Guy dolls at some stores. I got over my fear and now I like Child's Play and laugh at my 8 year old self's fear of Chucky. Seeing this prop brings back a lot of memories, it is in really good condition for being 25 years old and used in scenes were it was knocked over.
