JyJ forced to take that fight right before his upgrades kicked in was painful. He couldn't retreat because the Ultras would have more surface area and his large bio ball would just clump up and still die. Hyun knew the marine damage output was so low he could take the fight even in an inefficient position with that choke point. It was the best spot JyJ COULD have taken the fight, but still lost because the fight itself was an impossible to overcome fight.
