The only thing we get charged extra for here in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 is bacon which I add. I don’t put olives or banana peppers on mine. You ate my cold cut lol 😂. I just subscribed. They also give us cheese on ours here. 🇨🇦👍🤗😊 oh and I put cucumbers on mine as well lol 😂

My no1 Sub. Is simply buttered roll with shredded iceberg lettuice sliced cucumber, black olives ,green capsicum white onion with a sweet onion vinegar dressing (French or Italian) with slices of smoked turkey and pastrami. Never go too heavy with the Meats unless it is the star of the meal.
When I order I am there to make sure it’s done the way I want it because I always get extra tomatoes, pickles, onions and green pepper plus extra mayo lol 😂. So it’s always done the way I want it. 🤗👍🇨🇦❤️

Myth- (origin of subs) Italian shopkeeper Benedetto Capaldo fed a shipyard worker lunch in Groton, CT. The bread resembled a submersible boat. Over 500 Navy ship builders on our primary sub base began requesting the same meal. It became easier to just ask for it by the associated name "submarine".

I have worked at both Subway and Jimmy Johns. I think it is the bread they makes that makes the sandwiches better as most fast food places and restaurants. To some extent, it depends on the quality of the ingredients. We have a local sub sandwich place in our neck of the woods. They are pricey and the selection is limited, but they have rye bread. They also toast all their sandwiches. My impression is they toast the sandwiches in a certain way too, because of the texture.

Great video Geoff. I liked the relaxed style too. And I actually love stale cookies!! I just like the soft texture, sometimes crispy/crunchie food rips your mouth up.
I used to work at Subway, one of the best jobs I ever had! I called myself a sandwich artist whenever someone asked what i did 😋 I really enjoyed this challenge

Cheese is free. Also, you can put any toppings on them that you want to -- mayo, southwest sauce, all sorts of veggies, etc.
