I love how you’re adding things that are giving some height, the garden is looking great! ❤️🌻

Thank you! 😊 It's coming along slowly but surely!

13:10 I know the video is a year old but for the future I’d suggest raising the blade height on the lawnmower if possible to leave the daisies in place whilst preventing weed growth. Slightly taller grass is much better for insects and therefore birds. Just a thought, if possible 😊

It might be better for the insects, but it's not better for my Mum who lives with me! She's a fiend for cutting the grass and in the summer, not even a day after we've cut it and more daisies appear, so there's plenty for the birds and insects along with all of the other flowers in the garden! They don't go hungry x

I'm trying to plant in a border were it only gets the sun first thing in the morning to about 11 that's if the sun comes out. So mostly shade. Can u recommend anything that will flower and also ever green that will come back ever year that will suit the border.
I seen it in a video if u have deep / big planters before you put compost in put like plastic bottles any recycling materials in so u don't use as much compost and the planters won't be havey so u can still move them around.

I'll be honest, I'm still learning about plants and where to put certain ones myself! I'd recommend visiting your local garden centre and have a chat with the staff there who'd be much more knowledgable than me! In one of the garden centres I go to, they have the plants organised in sections for shade, ones that like sun etc!
