Great video Oliur. I really enjoy these. Thanks for continuing to offer these. I always get something from them. If not just enjoyment. Thanks again for the content.
Would be nice if could cover a desk setup with 1m x 0,6m (Ikea Linnmon) Table in your next video. The reason for this that i will move into a 1 room apartment and the space there is quite limited. How would you set up this space efficiently? Only on top and under the table, there is no room for more ✌🏻
Hi, has your desk dented or cracked where the monitor mount screws on? I've seen online these desks don't take monitor mounts very well. What are your thoughts?
Great video. Can you make a video featuring the Samsung M8 monitor? I think its also a great option since the price is not that off from the one you show here, and it has some extra features.
A question for Oliur or other viewers, do you guys think I’d be able to mount a 29inch UW monitor to a 120cm linnmon/langkapten table top? Read a few reviews that the desk starts to sink a little under the pressure. Anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks 😁
Do you think that Ikea tabletop would sag over time because of the mount+monitor weight? I'm thinking of putting a monitor mount on the same tabletop so looking for some insights.
Hi Oliur! Love this video. What monitor would you recommend if we have a bit of wiggle room in our budget? I was originally thinking one specific for MacBook Pro M1 and another for gaming so I wouldn't have to try to find an all-in-one monitor.
Love that you’ve provided a budget set-up but I’ve got to come back on the Ikea chair. If you use it once a week I think it might be fine but I picked one of these up during lockdown as an office chair and it squeaks and clanks whenever I move and the cushion on the seating area is completely flat now. A nice looking but really flimsy chair. I am going to look at a refurbished Herman Miller next time as this one is really poor in my experience.
Hey man you couldn't have uploaded a better time. I've searched a lot and this is the most helpful video I've come accross. I do have two questions though, How big is your laptop? I'm skeptical about buying the laptop stand as my laptop looks bigger (16.5inch) and defenitaly heavier. Also would you say the desk width is convinient enough to study without running out of space issues (because of the text books and other stuff on the desk)?
Hey Oliur, great channel. I've been looking for myself at White monitor-arms for a clean setup, so it blends in more towards a white wall. Good idea? Or will it stick out and look weird. Love the new car! Take care
This might be a dumb question, but why is the LAGKAPTEN 25 quid, ~50 dollars, but the TILLSLAG also goes for 25 pound, but for $35? I suppose I could just go downstairs to the description, but was wondering if I was just missing something. Maybe it's just different pricing for different countries. I suppose the desk and tressel are the same price the UK, but different prices in the US.
What scaling are you running that 4K monitor at? Apple computers should not be set to a scaling other than 100% or 200%, anything in between taxes the graphics of the Apple computer! That’s why Apple sells 5K and 6K monitors.
Very nice HQ, but... That legs and tressle must wiggle af and that laptop tray is just a dust collector. Sometimes it's useful to have more screens, but in most cases I believe there's enough space for apps on a single 4k screen. I would throw it away and put occassionaly laptop on the desk directly and when unused, put it underneath on that drawers unit to have the look even cleaner. But that's my POV obviously, otherwise it's pleasing and minimal anyway
Nice setup but these IKEA desk get scratches easily and don’t last long. I used it in my office for half a year but replaced it with custom made Fenix NTM HPL plate which is way more expensive but can be used for decades.
Imo if you want the best clean and minimal setup, then the studio display is the best, and pair it with a MacBook dock to hold it and a simple one plug setup with a thin and light laptop attached to it to take on the go
Nothing more satisfying than seeing a well thought out setup come together 👌
Love the idea of a budget setup Oliur! Great job including those of us that can’t always buy the best of the best, it’s appreciated!
been waiting for this for a while. you just get elegnace and simplicity. Amazing!
Nice video! What happened to your SPECTRUM EVE monitor? I thought you love that one?
The monitor arm on Amazon says not to install it on desks made of PB, whereas the lagkapten desk from ikea is made from PB. How does it hold up?
Damn, you weren’t kidding when you said you’re spending more to combat inflation 😂

I’ve been trying to find this out too.

Very nice setup video. Good to see some new combination of legs and drawers also. Definitely will pick some ideas for my setup

Everytime i saw your setup i really want to makeover my desk setup like yours
Nice .the table top little become lower in center its maybe because of the weight of monitor and wirings
2 weeks ago I purchased that desk but went with the Alex for my son's basic setup. He loves it.
Hi, how did the monitor mount hold up over time? I've heard these desks can compress?

Great content yet again Oliur 👏🏼 Thoroughly enjoying all your content, keep it up 👍🏼

Do you know what is the meaning of BUDGET? ... BTW Quality Content

Anyone got any recommendations for a monitor mount + laptop tray for a 29inch UW monitor?? Also thanks the inspiration Oliur, quality video!
where did you get that black colour wardrobe or cabinet or storage unit from?
??
oliur??
I have a macbook pro 2018 - what would be the best way to connect to a monitor like this?
If that's a gaming set up, I'd rather puke than play on that MacBook lol
It's very nice and I will buy that desk ! Thank you so much :)
the dongle is ugly hanging around and you can use instead a 10$ hdmi to type c cable
please use a ballhead tripod to pan or do it in post. your handheld shots got me dizzy af lol
well this is relaxing to watch. thanks!
Love the setup it’s amazingly clean
Can you please make a desk with the Nordli drawer? Its an Alex drawer alternative
Doesn’t the laptop tray lip interfere with opening the Macbook lid?
What lead do you use to connect your macbook air to monitor please?
I am swedish and if anyone is wondering lagkapten means team captian.
I just can't skip your videos no matter what's in it .. GG
Where do you keep your chargers for your portable devices?
Is lagkapten better than linmons? Mine's bent after a year
Will that desk top be fine with that monitor arm or will it break?
brooo, where you bought the rug?
If this is budget, I must be under the poverty line
Great stuff, good to see class in an affordable range

I have this exact monitor light! Love it 👌🏻

It's a fake fiddle leaf tree from IKEA.
