Big thanks to our friends at @ParagonRidgeRanch, they stopped by for a couple of days on the way back home from Florida and helped us finish one of the runs on this goat fence.
Sheep and goat fence is no fun to build but it needs to be done.
Syd also made a nice batch of elderberry syrup from the elderberries on our place and it turned out great!

My mom always made elderberry and grape jelly. Also elderberry and apple jelly. Those two jelly s are incredible. Please try these flavor combo jelly s. Love your channel and watching your family adventure s.
We have made so many jellies in the past but I rather have the benefits of the syrup .

Hey Syd love seeing make the elderberry syrup I love elderberry syrup it’s really popular since the pandemic I do make elderberry syrup and I do can it but I put the honey in it when I open the jar or if I give any away I also give a jar of honey with it just something to think about preserving it that way because I found putting it in the refrigerator after awhile it seems to lose it potency.

Hi guys!! Great video!! I love to see the framily come together. So glad the fence is done so now the pasture can hold the animals safely. I loved watching you do the elderberry juice. I’ve heard of elderberry wine and am wondering if you would ever consider making that? 💜
Maybe next season but I really don’t like wine that much and I love having the syrup around during flu season.

Clamp on pallet forks are very handy for quick pick ups. I got some for a little over a hundred bucks off eBay for my John Deere 5055E and they're great for a quickie. Best with the stabilizer bar.
I need to find some for my son. He started pre k last year & was sick all year long. The only time he was not sick was Christmas & spring break. As soon as school was over no more being sick. He went back for 3 day's last week & is sick again now. 🙄

Because you didn’t cook it down enough you have to cook it until the water is gone that’s why it’s watery I take it every day a tablespoon. I work in the medical field to keep the germs away.
No, if you see the edge of the pot it cooked down a lot and boiled total for well over an hour .
That is, if you are growing elderberry from Europe if you’re growing the elderberry that is from the United States, they are not toxic The elderberry that is grown in the United States is called American elderberry.
I’m not sure the variety since it’s wild so best to err in the side of caution 😉
