After drinking from the Patriots press conference fire hose all year, post-BB, and all that spin, it's great to see how extremely open Don is.

Trade Swayman for a wing and a pick, develop our young goalies.

He is our young goalie lol. He’s 25. Most goalies don’t debut in the nhl until that age, he’s already established himself. No goalie currently in the bruins system will be ready now or in the near future.

Jeremy swayman established that he can beat vegas, in Boston, when Mark Stone nor Jack eichel played
      😆
He beat vegas? I don't think so
Jeremy has demonstrated that he can take on toronto, when auston Matthews doesn't show up.
Linus demonstrated that he can take on the top Western teams in their houses.
I don't believe Jeremy has met or beaten McKinnon?
Look carefully at The rosters, not just the teams that Jeremy played
that's why they weren't announcing goalies until game time last season.
To see who their opponents scratched before games
Jeremy got wins against a few top teams that were missing their top players.
And he's darn lucky that the Bowery boys in Toronto couldn't pull their ship together.
If auston Matthews showed up to playoffs?
      Which he will someday...
We wouldn't be having this conversation.
      ✌️

@@petermarshall6577I've been calling him "a legend in his own mind" for years.
Last time on USA born & solely usa trained goalie won a Stanley Cup was 1994.
Tim Thomas left the nhl, played in Europe and came back the Tasmanian devil
Jonathan Quick got his first Olympic medal the same year as his first Stanley Cup. Not a coincidence
Jeremy was supposed to participate in Beijing but they were banned. So all he has is University of Maine
That international experience before or early in NHL level is important
      Just wait until 3rd period.
When he gets tired, shoot at his
Lower left post and upper right shoulder
He can't scorpion post to post
It hasn't been exposed as much because he's had an outstanding defense in front of him
But I've seen a lot of overhead footage where there's a bruin defenseman jumping in behind him to stop a goal
And it's going to be better defense this season
If everyone stays relatively healthy, Charlie McAvoy is on his way to a Norris
Any goalie is going to exceed their worth.
Coach goalie Bob will handpicked their rosters and schedule,
When Jeremy played hurricanes during playoffs, you might notice that all he did was stop pucks and cause offensive zone face offs.
That's what he was instructed to do
Do not cause rebounds. He can't control them - goalie Bob had him Eat the puck. Then take the face off.
We can afford to do that this year with the defense we have
So he'll direct bussi to do the same
And make bussi a legend in his own mind!
Don Sweeney is fully aware of this!

@@TheFoolintherainnSwayman is flaky at best, played rubbish after the all stars game for a bunch of weeks and now doesn’t have Ullmark to pick up the pieces. He will prove to be a bad overpriced pickup, stick with Bussi

Don Sweeney's eight-year record with at the helm is 378-174-66 for a .665 win percentage which ranks first in the NHL over that span... speaks much like his being Ray Bourque's best defensive pairing for as many years. Respect. 🏒

The reason why they can make so much is because of demand. People are willing to pay to watch them do their job, no one is paying to watch us do our jobs

    • @TheFoolintherainn
      @TheFoolintherainn Месяц назад +1

      Exactly, he hasn't proven anything
He's trying to get paid on potential.
Without Linus taking on the top Canadian & Western teams, in their houses and goalie Bob handpicking his schedule, down to the opponents' game day rosters...
Like having him play Vegas in boston, when Mark Stone nor Jack eichel showed up...
Without these advantages - his statistics are a bit misleading.
Toronto is one of the most messed-up teams right now -
Korpisalo beat them in first round with Columbus back in 2019, with a lesser team than Boston.
You pay a proven goalie stupid money.
But it's also a big privilege coming through coach goalie bob's and the Bruins prospect development stables
It increases their value even before they take NHL ice

He's a hockey player. knows how to deal with the media.
Like sometimes foreign players pretend they don't understand the question and answer a totally different question
They redirect the conversation... still give them the interview.

Why do you call them that wtf

    • @TheFoolintherainn
      @TheFoolintherainn Месяц назад

Yeah I favored Ullmark - but vezina award winners get expensive to keep as a backup or 1B.
They already knew Jeremy would be asking for beaucoup buck$
Wouldn't be able to afford both goalies
Unless linus comes back as a UFA. That's my version of fantasy hockey
But they had decided they were trading him before playoffs? They had already decided...
It's not like we were trading for Sidney Crosby or anything.
      Do you know why?
once you tip your hand to a player that they're being traded, they had to do it
He was complaining a little bit in the media locker room interviews that he wasn't getting enough ice time to be consistent
He took on the much heavier load when he broke all those records and got the vezina
He needs the regular season pressure
I don't think the 2022 playoffs was a fair trial for him.
The last five weekends of regular season - Bruins played Saturday Sunday back-to-back games
Play a game, get on an airplane, play another game in less than 24 hours, then get on an airplane again
Do that four more weekends in a row and then go into playoffs?
I remember distinctly because we had two games every weekend all month long.
I'm in a different time zone, so I was having morning coffee with games! All month!
That was a crazy schedule, got to cause stress injuries
Not everybody flies well and then can perform at that top level. That's a lot of sitting in a 48-hour period while their bodies need to be healing from inflammation.
He had that double hip surgery back in Buffalo and finally rehabbed with us in Boston
      I've always wondered about that.
      🤔
