@@Tcsingandstrum Exactly. That’s a real tragedy for the rest of the guys in the band. Yeah, those that know, know, but a whole lot of people think Vince is the entire entity and he’s not. It was a beautiful American success story that each one of those guys helped create. The epitome of a band effort. Only the guys in that band know what the real story was between them in the end, but I wish instead of plotting a split, their management could have recognized the need for a break and then coming back together fresh and creating new material. It was a waste of an amazing collective that had produced something truly unique. They were all amazing players and writers. As a live band they were beyond incredible, especially those early days. This happens to a lot of bands that become big and are sucked into the star making machinery.
@@CKS64 What surprised me the most about his solo career is that he seemed to desperately cling to the Alice character that had become a kind of millstone around his neck. I thought he was well sick of it towards the end. I just wish the band had got some time off and a chance to relax a bit and recharge. They were such an amazing entity as a group of friends and as a band, untouchable for the most part. I recently heard some live recordings of them in the Love It To Death era and man they were great. They had been touring a lot and had reached a point of playing their songs any way they felt like, not just mimicking the records. They were super tight and extremely creative. That original band is Alice Cooper.
I love the music from then and all the way to now. Alice is incredibly talented. Puts on the best show and concert in the world and he's gorgeous and he's my parents age. Alice's eyes got to me when I was a teenager ♥️
This takes me back...I remember sitting in my living room floor with my head glued to the speakers. The movie "the Exorcist " was out and I had just seen it. I loved this Album ❤️

But, yeah, my father is the starter of my Alice Cooper addiction...
@@alphagt62 awesome that you're playing the original Alice Cooper group songs ! When I was in my first proper band...which would be in 1975...we played "Under my wheels" off of "Killer" and "Unfinished sweet" off of "Billion dollar babies" which was a weird choice...then in my next band we played "Be my lover" ...!
I met Alice in Camden, London around 1999. Couldn’t believe my luck. Wandered over to him and said ‘people must tell you all the time you look just like Alice Cooper’. You could have knocked me down with a toothpick when he replied ‘well, I AM Alice Cooper!’ Too cool. Had a few minutes chat before a load of Aussie tourists recognised him. Keep rockin’ Alice! ❤
Ich habe Alice Cooper vor 2 Wochen in Berlin erlebt Er ist auch noch mit 76 Jahren ein Mega Star. Ich war sehr glücklich an diesem Abend es war eine super Show. Alice du bist der größte ❤❤❤
Based on the fact that I have this song in my ear even nowadays, shows how catchy their first big hit was. Not sure now if this or I'm Eighteen was their first hit. Either way, Love It To Death was a huge success and there were no fillers!
The true Freakshow rockstar. He was a major influence on my evolution of my listening experiences. Its funny how i just accepted his freakish nature and enjoyed the ride. 🤘🎸🔊👍👻💀👹Boo !
They were brilliant back then; Alice has become a bit of a Cartoon Character, although saw him a couple of years ago and he is still a massive entertainer
one of my favorites from the witch alice we are still all inside here let us go master plan in motion neither of witch decided so tod infinity chapter 8 no time must wait .
Alice, please make arrangements to remaster and upgrade the sound quality of the "Love It To Death" album and have it reissued. In my opinion it's one of the best rock albums of all time and the songs still hold strong, but the sound quality on the LP and CDs that were issued sounds filtered or muddy.
Cannot deny that that guitar playing sounds beautiful.
SG and Glenn Buxton! There is no sustitute!
aww it sure does. love it
Alice Cooper 2024!!!
yes indeed he's still great even after all these years
Now THAT is a rock'n roll band.
Proud to click on your thumbs up to be number 50!
This has always been on of my favorites!!!
Yess that’s the Alice I remember
Nothing beats the original band !
THIS LEGEND, will NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the band that is called Alice Cooper. These are the guys that worked hard and earned it. All of them.
Yeah it's a Shame he didn't come up with another name for his solo career instead of screwing the band that made him.
I agree, it spawned 50 years of confusion thinking Alice Cooper is a he, not a they.

I’ve loved him since I was a kid!
Thanks for sharing this!
Awesome! Alice Cooper still staying strong 🤟🤟
A true original concept rock video ahead of its time
Alice for President!! 🐍
So fabulous! The quality of these OGWT performances never ceases to amaze me. And Alice… pure magic and the beginning of his rise to legend status!
thx 4 spreading the gospel all these years Alice!
If only the original Alice Cooper group never disbanded. I would have loved to see the evolution.
@zyonsdream Alice got real stupid for a while....
Yeah, the original Alice Cooper group was ahead of its time. Even to this day IMHO, the new Alice Cooper group can not compare to the original group.
Wow, what a times!!!!!! Great Look, great songs
So good! Rest in peace Glen! 🙏

The original Alice Cooper group... Alice/Mike/Dennis/Neal/Glen...the only Alice Cooper for me ❤ !
For someone who looks like he's just touching the drum heads with his sticks, he's sure getting a great sound!
You are entirely correct. What a band that was

Dude had the Greatest rock voice. The musicians, Ultra talented
My very first Album Purchase, 1971 Love it to Death!!
I got it for Christmas '73 on 8 track...it was incredible hearing it as a little kid ! 😀
And one of the best rock albums of all time! And yet, it still has not been remastered and issued with improved sound quality.
I sing this song, and play bass, every week at band practice! The oldest song on our playlist!

Alice's appearance has survived remarkably well into his old age. It helps though that he looked like risen from the grave from the onset.
