I found the background music a little loud on this video, when I set the volume of the music to a nice level Lee was quiet and I couldn't understand what he was saying. Please lower music next video. Great content though guys
I've got a question about the SPD iso you're using, what's the spec? I could see Hager but if I get asked to do a retro fit in the future it would be useful to know👍😃
Genuine question Can I ask the purpose of putting it on an RCD at the board. I thought you didn’t need one on a Zappi?, and cable is all surface mounted. Is it because you couldn’t re-config the board to make a way not on the RCD? Thanks
I see you haven't installed separate double pole rcbo protection so if the zappi does require immediate isolation or under fault conditions your also isolating every other circuit protected by the rcd you have installed in the existing c/u
Hey Jim, we are trying out mixing up the content with a few shorter vids here and there but don't worry, there's plenty more full length content on the way!
4mm twin and earth, installed using installation reference method B has a rating of 30 amps. Why have you installed a 32 amp MCB for this circuit? Sorry lads, but thats a Code 2 on the next EICR! !! Potentially Dangerous !! Nice job overall lads, but these details are more important than looking pretty on camera with pretty looking test equipment, and fancy expensive battery tools. Good working knowledge of the wiring regulations outweighs all of that……and ultimately leads to a safer installation. I’d go back ASAP and either upgrade the cable or change the installation method. I don’t suppose this was cheap for the customer. 2 of you at more than £90 per hour + VAT. (EACH!). To be fair…..This install shouldn’t be paid for until it is installed in accordance with BS7671.
Not only pulling the main fuse but removing meter seals and connecting into the smart meter.. I think qualified electricians should be able to remove main fuses however we are not permitted and certainly not permitted to cut into meter companies seals / meters. As a professional company it seems pretty poor that you have done this.
@@stupot_64 yes but you’ve still had to cut the seals on main fuse and pull that or do it live , by the looks of it was done live as smart meters normally send signal it’s been switched off and they send meter fitter out and charge you for visit

1 OF 200 Meger testers
will be given out to the RUclipsrs for free no chance of the rest of us getting one.
Great teamwork. Competence and experience prevails. Well done lads. Jordan will be so proud of you. ❤️👍🏼
Lee and Luke smashing out good stuff again...
6:25 - Absolute genius
Off the top of my head isn’t 4mm rated at 30amp for ref method B ? 🤫
Nevertheless, love that tester 😉
Been looking for the 1741+ in black but never managed to find one. Great looking bit of kit
Love the black megger
Just out of interest do you allow a day labour for that job? Great job looks nice.
Did you fix the hot tub in the end?
This, why is the video cut short, we have seen a million charger installs, it would have been good to see the troubleshooting of the hot tub issue.
@@michaels8336 We couldn't have these "perfect installs" interrupted by a problem now could we......:D

In US. using a ’Megger is pretty much unheard of.
Said that, I use mine frequently checking out motors.
Were the two Wiska boxes connected together with another or just butted up?
Hey guys, where abouts did you get your fleece jackets from if you dont mind me asking?
Wagos on data cable ?
the cable will be a different lengh so might aswel fit it and then test it after you fit it!
Hi Lee what make is the meter
How did you connect the isolator without pulling the main fuse? :P
Unofficial pull the main fuse. The DNO won’t know 😂

Can you get 3 phase power in a general domestic house in the uk ?
If you pay ~£10k yes, very rarely they're installed in new builds
Can you do video on good budget brands and tools help apprentices cause some are so expensive to get
I want my consumer unit changed. Only Artisan will do for me. Jordan, is Northampton too far out of your area?
Hey Chris, if you fill in an enquiry form on our website we’ll take a look into this for you 👍🏻
I had a chance to buy one 2 years ago, didn't know they only made 200, I ended up getting a Metrel 3152
I’d rather the metrel myself anyway mate 👌🏻
@@Waynesworldofgaming I like that Metrel can test type F and B+ RCDs but Megger can't, but I do like Meggers build quality though
We have tried both and the Megger definitely wins
@@artisanelectrics yes a lot of people tell me that tbf, but I’m happy with my metrel so I’ll probably keep it until it dies on me 🤣

Luke... She won't be doing it again now 🤣 wp though 👍
