- The one and ONLY Anna Devane returns to General Hospital! She arrives at the island to rescue her daughter Robin Scorpio and the others... upon seeing Robert Scorpio after supposedly being dead all the years... she greets him by kicking his ass!...LOL

When Anna first hits Robert, I love Robin's reaction of "Ah, my parents." It just cracks me up!

I believe that Luke knew OF Anna, but had never met her. But this isn't the Robert, Anna, Luke, and Holly of te 80s and 90s. This is a comical attempt at incorporating history. Holly and Anna would have never went at it like that. They were always pretty sweet to each other. Holly and Robin were really close, too. The only thing in character about this entire exchange is Lulu's reaction, & Robin and Anna's relationship. Robert and Anna were good parents. So glad Guza is gone.
I just love this episode a good old Scorpio reunion with a lil ass kicking. Such a great scene well done Finola Hughes Tristen Rogers and Emma Sams. And of course to the rest of the people who made this scene so great.
I never liked Holly….
They did recast Anna with another Briish actress-Camilla Moore, when Finola Hughes left GH at the end of ' 91. But she didn't take with the audiences. She was let go. Finola Hughes came back for one episode. Daytime's James Bond and Emma Peel!

do they ever sit around and say, "hey, everyone here has been presumed dead like 3 times?" especially Luke like 5 times.. anyway, I wish I was around to be a writer at this time because I have no idea why they had to bastardize everything that was great about anna & robert to bring them back... I mean, we know it's not the actors. luke, holly, anna, robert are all fantastic. the dialogue and the concept is just horrible. so upsetting. I mean, they could have done a cycle where he had made a torturous decision to leave to protect her, and it killed her, and then when she found out, they reunited... and did like a That Old Feeling subplot with them fighting and making up, fighting and making up...
Hey its the REAL LULU...not that one that act nothing like her on the show now.

Weird how Anna returned on AMC and NOT GH, in the beginning.
AMC wanted her... GH didn't.
Now that I've seen the 80s storylines I see this really is farfetched. Robert's romantic life was a mess sometimes but Robin was non-negotiable. She came first, he wouldn't have even considered running off with Holly and Luke over talking to her
and Anna says to Robert "You miserable son of a bitch" I so remember this back in early May of 2006.

I Loved seeeing this reunion of classic characters from the glory years but this was somewhat a very corny storyline.
Finola Hughes didn't return to GH for 14 years.

By the time Anna came on the show, Luke was off in Texas with Laura or already on the run from Frank Smith.
Laura and Luke finally left the show in 1984. Anna joined the show in 1985 until 1992. However, Anthony Geary joined the show as Bill Ekert from 1990-1993. Laura and Luke returned to the show in 1993 and Laura was on and off after that. Robert and Anna were on and off again with Anna now permanent and, as well as Laura’s, but Luke is now gone.
I hated this era of GH. No wonder I barely remember this. Dillon was so desperate over LooLoo that he abandoned Georgie to chase after her on this dumb ass adventure. Then LooLoo was supposed to be this ultra special bad ass chick that had all these guys chasing after her (Dillon, Spinelli, Milo).
Wow, Emma Sams too? Damn, i missed all this! I don't even know this storyline. It's been so long as i've watched it.
I stopped watching in 2007 because I was sick of every second being about Sonny, Carly, Jason, and Sam. I missed this! Poor Robin. Her parents left her so many times.
