I just really appreciate the attention to detail the game developers paid to this game. Having the Strauss voice actor record lines for falling off a cliff and burning alive because the player might be so inclined to do that to him. 😂

You can't do that without some kind of mod. Also, the game isn't going to progress if you do this. It's a required mission. We've all tried to avoid the downes ranch mission. Its not possible.

It's part of what makes the story so impactful. To change it dumbs down the story and its meaning.
Life is not perfect and is filled with unfortunate events. I love how the story of Arthur reflects that. If you want happy little endings, play disney games.

You should watch Game of Thrones. You'll get your fix of tragic stories there. Although personally, I like the fat mod better. Instead of Tuberculosis, Arthur just has a heart attack. He still dies, so you still get your tragic ending that way.
Having a little fun with the game and playing outside of the boundaries is a part of single player gaming. As for removing the tragic elements of this, I have one thing to say. And this is coming from someone who has a reputation of being a killer DM. People have become dangerously addicted to tragedy and horrible events, and it's not healthy. There's nothing wrong with wanting to have a little fun and removing some tragic events in the process.

I disagree, it doesn't have to end badly for the player, just as life doesn't always end badly. Games are made for our enjoyment and if you've acted fairly moral and you have sufficient funds, Arthur should be allowed to live happily there after with that woman who wanted him to run-off with her on the train.

It doesn't affect without mods. With mods you can stop the story and leave with everyone in chapter 2.

I have tried shooting him and Micah so many times. I can’t ever get it to work. The game makes u do the downes mission early now or no more missions come up until completed.
Yes I have also tried to shoot Micah many times. But in this mission you can do this with Strauss

After completing this game 96 pct, i didnt do the flowers and birds collections. I replayed all the way up to the Downes mission. I refuse to do it! 🤣

If you have rdo you can find these covers from trapper bro and paints too. If you have a steam version you need WhyEm Dlc for this outfit. You can purchase from trapper. And this outfit is upscaled in 4k textures.
