RUclips has changed the way they monetize my content. My channel now needs 1,000 subscribers so it would be amazing if you could show your support by both watching my videos and subscribing to my channel! Monetizing my videos allows me to invest back into the channel with new equipment to improve the viewing quality so a small gesture from you goes a huge way for me :-) Many thanks for your support!
Great tips - thank you. I worked out 15 metres for my 2 seater sofa, But I am going to try it your way now and see if it is the same. I love the drawing plan of cutting out the fabric.
I love your videos, thank you for taking the time to make them😊 I’m doing my first club chair so would love to see you do a step by step for this chair 😊
Hi Sharon! Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos, it means a lot! Absolutely - if I get one in to do, I will definitely make a tutorial for you 😊
Thank you so much 😊 I’m really struggling with this chair because I’m not sure what sort of base it had originally 🤔 It’s been stuffed with cushion inserts by its previous owner but I think it should have some sort of box frame base 🤷♀️ no idea how to start a base like that so I’ve been trawling RUclips and google lol 😂 Soooo if you fancy making a tutorial for that it would be fab 😆 😁 I love the way that you present your videos, they are the first ones that I’ve watched and can actually understand 😁
Also, how much extra would you add for piping? It's around all of the cushions and around the outside arm where it joins the inside arm. I assume i would be cutting it on the bias to go around the corners better...
Thanks this is really helpful. I'm looking at using a polyester velvet to recover a sofa. The velvet has a nap, so I'm thinking that will affect how i cut the fabric, as i can't cut pieces sideways to use up the excess on the side of the bigger pieces, as the nap will be going the wrong way. Do you have any advice on working with velvet?
Yes always run the pile/nap down on every panel. You can run it if you like but then the shading can change depending on the angle you are looking from. Could do a whole video on this to be honest.
Brilliant! Your the Ed China of upholstery, clear idiot proof instructions. I am on my 1st project and wish I had seen this b4 buying 3 m more than I need😂
Haha what a great comment!! I’m so glad you found the video helpful...just a shame slightly too late for your first project 🤣 but now you know for future projects 😉👍🏻

Yes always on the bias. Don't add any on to the cushions as it doesn't seem to make much difference in my opinion. 🙏🧵⛏️✂️📐
You are the best
You’re too kind, thank you 😊🙏🏻

Hi Darren - where are you based? I might be able to help you!
@@faceliftinteriors Leicester- unfortunately!
What's the black fabric called that's attached to the leather?
Hi Shirley-Ann! It’s black platform lining fabric 😊👍🏻
Your sound quality is very poor. There is alot of echo.
Thanks Sammy - new videos I use a microphone 👍🏻
