This is my Marvel's Secret Invasion Rewrite.
In this video, I discuss my thoughts on Marvel's Secret Invasion, and offers my rewrite to fix the issues I found with the show.
THIS IS AN EXERCISE FOR FUN
I'm in no way a better writer than the writers of this show, I have the give of hindsight, which is 20/20, and in this exercise I forbid myself from radically changing the show, I have to use the original ideas and attempt to deliver a better version of this comic book adaptation.
I give you a detailed run through of what my version of the series would look, and ultimately feel like.

Great rewrite man. I love that you had Gravik take on a younger Fury, Thaddeus Ross becoming President by the end of Episode 5, and having the U.S. government coming on the footsteps of New Skrullos.

Not gonna lie, episode 5 was my favourite to write, it's the one I find fits the best into my story structure and naturally feeds into the cause & effect beats of the story

one thing i wish they never did was keep giving away who were Skrulls. It took away from the mystery and stakes. Even back in the Captain Marvel movie they had Coulson call Fury even before we find out that the Coulson in the car is a Skrull. So technically we knew it was a Skrull before Fury found out. I wish we were finding out reveals just as the characters were learning it
Really amazing rewrite! I was thinking of making one myself so thought I’d see if anyone else had had a crack at it. You sound really professional when talking about the writing and made some great changes, one idea I had for my own rewrite was Sam Wilson playing a part in some capacity.

In my opinion, everything they did was right, except that it lacked a lot, especially cameos from some Avengers. I think if this was an Avengers movie that focused more on Fury, it would’ve been way better
