You have come so far from when I remember you just starting the renderings and wondering what to do for a ridge support. Looking forward to the next video for progress. Don't give up!

Great job. A big task is always daunting. You are trusting your instincts and getting things done. Not a big fan of you working on the roof while holding your phone. :) Stay safe. 🇦🇺

Hello to you in Australia! I appreciate your worry for me, I was also not a fan of working on the roof while holding my phone 😅

Coming from a carpenter you are doing great for not doing this for a living and it's better work than I see allot of career builders do. Only thing I would have done differently is your window rough openings are a bit large and doesn't seem like you are using new construction windows. You really only need a half inch gap between the window and your framing and if you went new construction windows it's easier to install/ weatherproof with the nail flange on the exterior that allows you to have a really good seal when you tape to the sheathing and spray foam from inside. All ends up the same in the end. Also are you planning on doing any exterior insulation or for your climate do you only plan on having r-15 insulation? For my tiny home trailer builder I'm doing 2x4 walls as well but going to have 2" of exterior insulation since I'm in Maine. So r-25 walls, r-30 floor, r-50 roof.

Thank you for the wonderful compliment! You have some great tips, hopefully people can learn from your comments what to do better than I did! My windows were all used- new windows were not in the budget, and I definitely learned that new windows would be so much easier! We haven't found the need for extra insulation- you will understand when you see the size of my wood stove in the next episode!
Thank you for watching, and for the helpful feedback!
