I used to go to church with Phil here in West Monroe! I can tell you guys that he is as real off screen as he is on screen! He’s a man who goes hard after God! He’s very wise! I have a great respect for him and the Robertson family.
Jared Putman I met him and spoke with him for a long time, he most certainly is the way you claim. Salt of the earth, easy going, intelligent and articulate. He is humble and isn’t too popular or too Hollywood. Just a normal guy and treats every day people like me with respect and kindness.

Omg! I'm so thrilled Mr Shapiro scored an interview with Phil Robertson. I've been a big fan of his for quite a while. I'm so glad Ben had him on his show!
I could listen to Phil all day. From his use of hand gestures, his calm demeanor, and his slow but powerful emphasis, it's easy for anyone of any age to understand him.
I'm glad his sons encouraged him to get out their speak more. The world will definitely benefit from it.

Read through the list. If we lived according to His will, using our bodies in the way He prescribes or in the words of Romans, "Offering our bodies as a living sacrifice...", (notice the word 'living'), you don't think the world would be a better place?

I used to say the prayer for our highschool football team before games, like phil was talking about. It was really important to us and it really brought us together I believe. Proud to have been part of one of the last schools to do that.
SneakyZeke I believe you are still allowed to pray before games, just not in a public environment where there is no alternative, but for atheist like myself i believe having a presupposition that he exist is the real problem here and because everyone does not agree and we live in a liberated country with guaranteed freedoms, we are allowed to control what we listen to. Job Lunatic I always appreciate alternative points of views and while I don't follow any religion I have nothing against those who do, I am just tired of people excusing their abhorrent behaviour on their religion or scapegoating a particular group because of their sick idiotically, for example, Christians condemning atheists for disagreeing with them while turning a blind eye when a preacher calls for the eradication of gays because they offend god.
I am an advocate for free speech and personal freedom, so people can have whatever beliefs they want as long as they don't effect me but I think that people need to address that their beliefs are their own and stop trying to attribute them to whatever group or religion they belong to.

I grew up in a religious household and I didn't feel right going through the motions of something I didn't believe in, like going to church and just sitting there waiting for it to be over so I can go home, I started researching humanism when I was about 12 and after admitting that I was an atheist and following the humanist ideology, I was, and still am, a lot happier than when I was going to church, am I a saint, no but I am far from a bad person as I'm sure most of the world's population is, just because you don't have a religion doesn't mean that your a bad person.
Sorry if it feels like I'm preaching, not my intention but it's very rare I get to express my feelings to a religious person without them calling me the 😈.

He was on a show called duck dynasty. I stopped watching when they cut him out of the show. People made a huge stink and the network asked him to come back and he said no. The show ended shortly after that if I remember correctly but like I said I stopped watching.

Why is it "bold" to Love your Creator?

I was referring to his courage to go on public television (a place that is now occupied by mostly people who would denounce such love for the Creator) and say the things he does. Although it is a commanded trait by God to be bold, I still find his ability to say the things he does inspiring.

Protection. You are bound to death. Your all loving God allows 6,000,000 children under the age of 5 to die every year of excruciating diseases. Oh what love.
We don't need to put God back in everything. Especially Science or Politics etc. That's where you have major fucking problems. Religion in general has caused more problems than it's worth.
