Pavlov's New Mode is Battlefield VR

- Pavlov VR is the most fun VR fps at this point. Simply because playing Pavlov could mean Call of Duty gameplay in virtual reality all the way up to Battlefield type gameplay in VR thanks to Push. The new Push game mode was the best idea Pavlov could have had. It's funny how important custom maps are in a VR game where the developers usually have fewer resources than a AAA game studio, because with all the new maps that have come out since the update, it feels like a AAA update. Thank you, I think I took the plastic off, but I don't remember seeing any goopy stuff on the backside so I've been paranoid. I knew NOTHING when I built this PC last summer.
@@habie147 usually preaplied thermal paste is not goopy, its like a bit of grey paste that's generally pretty flat. If the AIO came with a tube of thermal paste then it's probably not preapplied and you should take your PC apart and apply it. Also, might want to watch your temps while you play anything intensive. If it's getting above like 85 celcius then you probably don't have thermal paste.
@@habie147 IF you didn't have thermal paste, you'd probably notice it when your pc gets like really slow due to overheating and therefore down clocking. Modern systems due this to protect themselves

It might be fine as some coolers come with pre applied thermal paste/compound, but if your unsure, its probably best to check. Although it might be best to try a few things first like doing a cpu benchmark and just looking at the temps. If it gets above about 90c, check the thermal paste.

We’re in the Wild West times of VR right now. Once VR grows enough companies will shut down things like the Halo and COD zombie modes for copyright claims. Enjoy it while we can.
i don't think they will, those are from the workshop. you don't see nintendo suing gmod for having mario mods.
@@kitkatrina1337 and if anyone was going to, it would be nintendo.
Vr = the future of gaming
They can't shut down zombies
Tell that to literally every modding community ever. Gmod still has plenty of copyright violating mods, and so does just about every other game with modding.
Countless space games with Star Wars and BSG and Star Trek mods, Anime and MLP Payday mods, Anime Insurgency mods, Thomas the Tank Engine in Zelda BotW, Halo and Star Wars and WH40k in Arma 3, _literally everything from Touhou to Sonic to racism_ in Doom 2. The only IP I have seen have any semblance of traction regarding prohibiting fan works is Games Workshop and Warhammer 40k, and they have been met with significant resistance and outright failure in many cases.
As for Zombies. CoD does not own Zombies game modes. You cannot own an idea; Playerunknown does not own BRs, DOTA does not own MOBAs, and Team Fortress does not own Hero Shooters.

Its called st Mary Eglise. It was a map originally made by the resistance and liberation team, among for half life 2.
Sorry st mare eglise. Another great one from rnl is ste Marie Dumont. Basically any map that was built for rnl will thrive in pavlov ww2
@@habie147 I've played a lot of the push gamemode last year, there was a lot of custom made maps including the D-day one. Find it really difficult to find any lobbies that have anyone in them that isn't TTT anymore tho :(
@@Whoisthistho push got a BIG popularity boost when it became officially supported and not only a custom game mode, just like Hidden. You'll find a lot more to play now. Dog Green in particular is everywhere (and much better than the other and older d-day push that I forget the name of that is likely the one you have played for so long).
Imagine someone makes a warzone inspired map, with all those little places, high buildings, playgrounds, camps, preservation parks, and the streets, etc, it would be insane
na keep that
It probably comes pre apploed with thermal paste. You should monitor your CPU temps using something like HWMonitor. Do this while your CPU is under load with rendering a video, a CPU benchmarking tool, or something like idea64. Your CPU shouldn't be above 80-85°c. If it goes up to around 100°c you probably don't have thermal paste and are thermal throttling. You should remove the cooler (if you have an AMD CPU give it a twist before pulling it off because sometimes the stickiness of any paste that may be there can pull the CPU out of the socket with the cooler and damage it), clean everything off with isopropyl alcohol (coffee filters work good at not leaving lint), and apply a small amount of thermal paste to the CPU and reinstall the cooler. I believe in you!
Edit: Amazon says it should be pre applied, but check your temps just to be sure. It would really suck to have lower performance and damage your CPU overtime!
Underrated comment
My MSI AIO cooler for one didnt come with thermal paste pre-applied. and even if it is pre-applied, i would personally recommend replacing it with a better brand like thermal grizzly or arctic silver. (using arctic silver myself since thermal grizzly tends to dry out fast, and arctic silver doesnt dry out at all)
@@DerpLvIAsian that it also true, even if your cooler does come with thermal paste, it is probably not the highest quality paste. In most cases it's probably good enough especially with an AIO, but I always suggest monitoring temperates just to be sure!
I've been playing with my friends constantly and it's some of the most fun I've had in vr
I love that developers trust the community with there tools. It is an aspect so hard to find in the world today
Unpopular opinion, the only thing holding me back from playing pavlov all day every day is the sheer number of little screechers in every lobby and the insane number of bullets you have to shred people with for them to die. It's just so annoying having to dump an entire mag into someone before they die. And the kids. My God the kids.
Yeah I have to agree, I wish there was a lower ttk like what you get in Onward. Perhaps the devs can add a "hardcore" variation of all gamemodes?
The kids are the worst, but usually I've realised that if you do tell them how much of a little shit they are, probably the parents are around in the room and can hear you through their Quest 2, so they will eventually have to leave the game. At least this is how it went down for me, two times when I've encountered some little screechers.
If you avoid TTT and one in the chamber, you bypass 90% of the kids. Also if you avoid submachine guns and pistols, the time to kill with rifles isnt an entire mag. Ak 47 ttk is 4 or 6 body shots(1 headshot) M4 the most popular weapon is 6 or 8 body shots (2 in the head.) WW2 mode has no body armor so the ttk is noticeably quicker with semi automatics, pistols and shotguns. Submachine guns are still awful damage as it is accurate. Although I imagine it sounds absurd to an onward player because everything there kills in 1 or 2 bullets.
@@ArezX3 leave the kids alone
There are maps that run Hardcore Mode (HP is set to 70%) like Demyansk Pocket, Remagen, St Marie du Mont, St Mere Eglise, Tunisia, Berlin, Desert Oasis, Trainyard and all maps from Day of Defeat

Fuckin love your videos habie. I have no idea how you became one of the best VR game review channels. God bless the algorithm or something. But I know I can trust you. Above all I know your always honest, and your looking for a good game above all else. Thanks man.
Usually the thermal paste comes preapplied, but you should run a benchmark, and if the cpu starts overheating, like 90c+, then check the thermal paste because it is very much neccisary.
I love the WWII game modes, but when I am put on the axis side, there are a lot of guys doing some funny solutes, and saying some funny words
I would just like to point out that the push game mode in Pavlov was originally added by the community, but then later added by the devs.
Edit: AIO pumps usually come with thermal paste applied. If you found a layer of gray sticky stuff on the contact between the CPU and the pump, then your good. But if you're computer is chronically overheating, then I would recommend checking it out.
Yeah I remember it as rush

Most AIO (and air coolers for that matter) come with pre applied thermal paste. Although you should check, especially if you left the plastic on that could cause a fire.
