It's almost Christmas. During this time, I always remember my first Christmas in Canada. I remember thinking that Christmas is not the fun, happy, and festive celebration that we have back in the Philippines. For those who do not know, the longest Christmas celebrations happen in my home country. During this time, we attend numerous gatherings, sing karaoke to our heart's desires, and eat like there is no tomorrow. Because the celebrations, the place and people are different in Canada, Christmas may not be a happy one especially for those who are new to the country.
