I have a 991 GT3 Touring with fixed buckets and no rear seats, which you cannot option. On the base Carrera I would option the rear seats since the seats fold down for storage and there is space between the seat cushion and folded back rest to store smaller things like a secondary shelf. Also, I think it dresses up the look of the interior.
Why are some 992.2 coming with yellow signal light and other with clear, which was a default (and my preference)? My shows clear on order. Will be her in about 5 weeks.
Thanks for the review. I ordered a chalk 992.2 Cab from Porsche Minneapolis and delivery is 12/22/24. I may have to stop by to test drive or at least look at it.
I just ordered a guards red 992.2 with the spyder wheels and man oh man it would've been great to get at least one shot in this video of the car without you guys standing in front of it.

with the new big turbos and intercooler 992.2 with a simple stage one tune will easily crank over 500 whp and 500 torque. Esentially stock 992.1 gts numbers
I was thinking as I have seen plenty of great track footage and it now has the GTS turbos that this is a jump above the Carrera T (poor mans 911 underpowered) the previous model. Am I correct in this assumption?
Carrera T a Poor man's underpowered 911?? Do you know what you're talking about? Are you kidding me? Any car that's starts at $125K (without options) is not a poor man's car. The only difference between the new 992.2 BASE (PDK only btw..., no Analog Tach btw..."push to start "button btw...) and the 992.1 Carrera T when comparing performance is ONLY 9 more horsepower...
@@Shiba_Inu_Desreally well it is the second cheapest model here in Australia the Carrera S is more expensive. All reviews I’ve seen of the T mentioned it’s underpowered.
I’m hoping the 992.2 Carrera T will have the same inter cooler and GTS turbos but comes with a Manual, that’s the one I’m waiting to buy! Great review guys.
Why are you two standing in front of the car? Step away so we can see it duh. Then we get to see your faces for the other half of the video great
The 992.1 has an analog tachometer!
Thank you for the information!
Shout out to you guys for reviewing a BASE
We are glad you enjoyed the video on the base!
Thanks for reviewing the base 911. Can't wait for mine.
It is an amazing car! You definitely will be happy when you get yours!
Nice car. The lack of tach and manual are hard to accept. But I’m biased since I own a ‘24 992.1 GTS Coupe.
@@Turn5ive Thank you very much. Delivery date is Nov. 11th. I‘m excited. :)
@@WFO.Very nice car. Was thinking of getting a used 992.1 GTS. But I wanted to spec my own 911.
@@m.j.41 Smart move to spec your own. That’s what I did. What are your top three options?
Not a fan of the “redesign” but guards red makes it look a whole lot better
The guards red is beautiful on this car!
Does the lack of a limited slip on the base model matter? What do you lose? Can't drift?
great video, might want to invest in some on-person mics when you've got the camera far away from you.
Thank you for the insight!

That is a great point of why it still makes sense to get the rear seats!

When will there be an 4 and 4S?
Love it! 👍

If one prefers having ample torque then a base 992 C2 is simply not enough. Speaking from ownership experience.
Thank you for the insight!

@@babypluto7538 Yes, very true… but at the same time one runs the risk of a PCNA warranty claim denial in the event of a failure. FYI, it does happen.
@@The_Ultimate_Driver ofc everyone needs to asses their own risk. Knock on wood and it doesn’t happen.

The Carrera T should have the same engine and turbos as this 911 but it should have the suspension from the GTS and other sporty bits for track use.

We are glad you enjoyed the video! A manual with the Carrera T will be great but the PDK in this model is still amazing!
The m-engineering tune will be crazy on this one
Guards Red = too much attention = too many tickets 😢
Why is this so unbelievably under powered if it has all these items shared with GTS and Turbo
Detuned. How they can get away with charging so much
15 mn to see faces and no one minute on the car😢
Not enough hp for the money the m2 /m3/ m4 & m4 GT run circle around it not worth the money & I own a Porsche
Guys make POV drive nobody not interesting look on your face
Unwatchable
What a boring review
