i was in the same position, i can get a 08 raptor 700 right now thats mint for alittle more then 4 grand.. i just had my second motor rebuild on my ktm this past month.. the maintaince was a lot but i still love the thing... i cant get rid of it, it's too awesome
Been here so many times I could point out where u guys r on a map, im from Centerton, AR 15yrs old going tomarrow wiyh some firends gotta love labor day.
i had a 450 build 570 ... the thing had ~300 hours when i sold it , perfect valve/compression , the owner have put over 200 hours on it and not even burning oil yet .... those engine last tons if you change oil often and wait for them to be warm to beat on em. ohh ... Air filter , the single most important thing to clean every ride.
you can only hear the quad 25 to 50% of the time, the rest of the time is just wind, plus the sound is all distorted with slow motion, you know what a quad sounds like so i dont know why it's a big deal, if there was no music it'd be one big mess of sounds
@@PeteHager if you ever get the chance you should come check out the Oregon Dunes National REcreation Area, its the whole section between Coos Bay and Florence Oregon with Reedsport in the middle. Awesome dunes here. Your vids keep me going until I can get a quad again
If my 1979 ATC threewheeler was runnin....id love to take it in the sand for a bit....ive only got to ride it in the driveway (gravel) and out field back up state NY (Evens Mills, Pamela County) but now its in pieces cause in tryin to get my 1987 chevy S-10 workin right.....so at the moment ive got a few things weighing me down (money reasons)
we found the best jumps to be by the entrance on the fence line. 3rd or 4th gear pinned depending on how your machine is geared. pretty sick air. and yes im commenting from my girlfriends utube.
@XtremeSkier08 hey man me and my friends take like two trips up there a year maybe we'll see you there :) we have like 75 ppl that go so look for like the biggest group of ppl there :)

We used to take three wheelers back when they ruled. What a blast man especially after a nice rain

about 7 grand OTD with a trade in but that was back in 08, you can get carry overs pretty cheap now
