I play career on Intermediate (the “intended experience” as the game states) and it’s either way too easy, or the AI reads every single one of my inputs and proceeds to operate in ways that aren’t available to the player. It doesn’t actually teach you how to play and rewards bad boxing.

I played this game this evening and I was like the hell was that I was 4 ft away fighting a person with a very short reach and I still got hit I’m like nah I keep giving this game a chance I will go back to playing fight night champion or creed boxing champions this is sad because I was the main one saying give them a chance😂
The crazy thing is they actually made the easiest difficulty more difficult intermediate is the easiest I can just imagine how hard pro and undisputed is now and I play fight champion on greatest of all time and do much better on that game come on steel city
Ali himself used this exact strategy on Ron Lyle getting a TKO in the 11th round. Although I do believe he did throw some punches, he mostly just covered up and let Lyle rack up points then went for the kill when Lyle was fatigued.
As much as entertaining that video was, i feel disappointed for that game, the devs are not handling the game in the right direction, this is not proper boxing at all, we want to be able to fight punch and feel opponent bones crushing, hope they really fix the game in the next patch

The patch totally ruined the game for me. I only play career mode (i guess I'm one of those weirdos), and the game feels totally sluggish and imprecise, like fighting in jello. All the pvp whiners the developers listened to can kiss my ass. I hope they reverse it somehow.

Cool experiment, but in real boxing the boxer would receive warnings and eventually points deductions (and possibly even disqualification) for not throwing any punches. So, if anything, they should probably program that into the game
Yea undisputed is not playable online rn you get knocked out too easy in the rounds you can’t get up after the 3rd knocked down when i kind of 5 or 6 times
Bruno has a 93 punching power so im not surprised you hurt him in the 5th round, he had a low bar so any shot will hurt him, i use this same strategy with crawford

I’ve uninstalled this game, so disappointed was really looking forward to it. I’ll reinstall it when they fix it up to a decent level hopefully. Happy to of given them my money just for the future hope they’ll continue to work it into something playable
I actually fought to a draw in my last game , and after it said I got a draw , I send the guy a message for a rematch turned off my Xbox .. came back to it next day and it added a loss . Don’t know why tf
