Underestimating matchups, being too careless, the champ requires a shit ton of time to play really well because of how well you need to pilot your champ in order to succeed
Nidalee need 2 snowball and hit her spears. If she has no setup It can be really hard to snowball and hit spears. So if you have a nidalee pic cc to setup her ganks
DO NOT PICK NIDALEE IF YOU ARE AN OFF ROLE JUNGLER! She has one of the most technically challenging clears in the game at the start, and if you don't do the resets with traps properly her clear is awful
Yeah I went through a phase of watching KiNG Nidhogg and thought I'd pick up Nidalee. After 20+ games played + time spent in practice tool grinding clears I could not get a 3:15 first clear with good health even if I skipped krugs. Way too hard.

Idk if midbeast is trolling but nidalee has one of the hardest clears in the game. Its super mechanically intense especially staying at high hp and kiting. Besides that power farming is not the best strat every game. Sometimes you are going to get invaded sometimes you are going to get pressured to make plays
well its intense but for me cause im super used to kiting and attack moving its pretty normal but yes if u get invaded as nidalee it sux or if 3 lanes get stomped thats really hard to do anything
Actually, early nidalee beats a lot of champions early in jungle suppression. She can keep distance poke with ease, she can close distance with ease, and she jump over terrain. Her clear is fairly decent; long range q damage, heal/attack spd, 2 forms of aoe, and short cds. If you are losing early on nidalee it’s you, not the champ

He's like, just copy the clear and spam gank, while other champs can clear just as fast with insane scaling compared to your trash mid and late on nidalee, your ganks are pretty bad and it's just really hard to climb on this champ, but in high elo it's much easier to win.

And I think the biggest reason it's not as good in low ELO is that tempo jungling requires fast and accurate decision making on when to weave ganks in between sequencing. Thus, farming junglers are a lot easier since you can generally just full clear and then look for plays. Should you miss plays due to farming you can still fall back on your scaling. Meanwhile someone who is very good at tempo jungling will completely smurf on lower ELOs with these picks.
very simple to clear, yeah yeah. nidalee is one of the few jungles for who clearing actually takes a part of my focus away from what happens on the map. rotating 7 abilities + auto-attack timings is a bit more than what you are used to from other junglers.
It's funny because when he is describing it at 7:40 you can literally see on screen that it's not happening. Not only do you need focus, you actually need to have your camera panned on your screen so you can click correctly. Midbeast just doing his best to describe and predict what he sees, but it's clear he is not a nidalee jungle player.
4:35 The other reason sorc rush is so good on nidalee is not just "getting to camps faster" (since a lot of her movement between camps is the long-range pounce, not walking) but having a movement speed _differential_ over enemy champs. Being 40 MS faster than your opponent means once you are out of range, you can never get caught up to, and if you are barely out of range, you can close the gap. For a champ like Nidalee whose defense comes from mobility rather than defensive stats (low hp and resists), getting early MS is huge. Not to mention that 18 flat pen from sorcs is 17-18% damage increase on 20 MR jungle camps.
Nid is a "must NOT pick" pre-diamond and pre-200 games on the champ. Her winrate below diamond is comically low in every patch and every season. If you're climbing, pick OLAF instead. He has ALL of the same advantages Nid has (except one-shot potential). However he is much much easier to play consistently with and his counter-jg is actually even stronger than Nid's.
The worst part is he missed it on Galio BOT. To be fair a non-bot might have tried to dodge Zoe Q backwards, but the bot is so next-level it doesn't even react to skillshots.
nid is so fun to play, she feels so versatile, her pve is actually insanely fun and the combos, even tho she has a lot of buttons are easy to understand. Ez to get into, if you can learn a first healthy clear and a very high skill sceiling
The problem with playing Nidalee in low elo (below diamond/masters) is that you don't have teammates that know wave management and limits for fights and turret dives, let alone people who are willing to collaborate together to make plays like hiding in a bush. It's very rare to happen in low elo.
I have 1.6 Million on Nidalee and Midbeast is talking way too easy about Nidalee... She is the highest APM Jungler in the game currently, like atleast for clear. She has many animation cancels and auto attack resets. When i picked her up in season 7 i got executed at blue (with pull and smite, yet no money for runes). Meanwhile you still have to do alot of kiting if you want to stay healthy. I can recommend you guys if you want to play her for a long time, but its def not fun for "a few games". He just makes it look easy, meanwhile my clear looks like his but as a said, lots of practice.

im not 100% sure but after watching videos of when he gets kills it says 300 plus 70 so that is treasure hunter and when he goes in river he gets ms and at lvl 5 he got cdr. so its dark harvest,sudden impact, eyeball collection, treasure hunter.. then sorcery tree, transcendence and waterwalking. runes are cdr, adaptive and armor runes

I hesitate to call 3:44 a "misplay" because he got the kill, but I'm pretty sure if Taliyah just keeps walking (without throwing her E) she is no longer in auto range and will then get her movespeed passive (2 seconds without being hit or throwing a spell). Maybe with 2 more form changes (back to cougar to pounce and back to human for ranged auto) he can get there but I feel like Taliyah can make it to the base by then.
I have problems making the long roam for no return. My teammates get in my head when they start flaming me and I feel like I have an obligation to roam to the other side of the map when there's tons of objectives on the opposite side. And once they die once or twice in low elo their mental is shot and then they start bming, taking camps and inting. It's really frustrating.

btw, that he can do full clear and be at crab at 3:20 is rather nutty. other junglers have that timing with one camp less. the taliah was earlier at crab by skipping out on gromp and she still almost lost the crab to nidalee. that she then died and nid took her gromp was ofc very tragic for her. but it is exactly that tempo advantage she has to other junglers that makes her so extremely oppressive, at least as long as you are really really good at clearing with her and still have the awareness for the map arround you. and well, with 7 abilities to rotate through while clearing that is actually not that easy. for me playing nida always feels extremely stressful. also her low w cd in cougar form gives her temp advantage on recalls when walking back to camps etc.
2:41 that's total bs, I've tried playing nidalee, learning how to clear, she is literally the highest apm jungler (if not highest apm among all champs), you constantly need to be pressing buttons to be efficient with your clear and at the same time you gotta pay attention to your cooldowns that you don't see (other form) and watch the minimap aswell

I can see a whole bunch of papers coming to the conclusion that blue light suppresses melatonin production which will affect your circadian rhythm, but all light does this and i can also see some papers claiming yellow light is even more potent. as for the product, yeah avoid it, most of the claims as you say are bogus.
its not about long term impact, its about blocking blue light for immediate comfort. Its useful when driving too if bright LED headlights bother you since they do tend to have blue tones
the valkyrae one is skin care which has really no effects. but glasses are different it helps the eyes to not get fatigue much quicker if you're playing for a long time

That farming is what impressed me the most, it's so clean. When he kills scuttle while also attacking blue at 18:50 it was just so smooth.

its not about long term impact, its about blocking blue light for immediate comfort. Its useful when driving too if bright LED headlights bother you since they do tend to have blue tones
the valkyrae one is skin care which has really no effects. but glasses are different it helps the eyes to not get fatigue much quicker if you're playing for a long time

Nidalee is such a hard champion to play I struggled so hard trying to pick her up but when you understand on how to use those 8 rotating skills you can have fun with her in the jungle easily but as a platinum player Jankos' nidalee is mostly the only nidalee the watch so it feels refreshing seeing new guys as good as him
