Just a note: This was played before the most recent patch. Churchills are now CHEAPER! Nice buff that will make this strategy even better!

i remember hearing that the sight of a Churchill Crocodile was often enough to cause large amounts of enemy troops to surrender. absolutely love that tank
That is one aspect that SD series doesn't model well. I remember the Close Combat series, and if you had low experience or conscript infantry with no leadership and no other friendlies around, a tank coming around the corner would often cause them to panic outright.
@@fortusvictus8297 sounds about right. Tanks are scary. Especially when you don't have any anti tank.
Gotta love the 15th Scots! They have some decent planes also but you dont really need to use with so many Churchills💪
I generally take sniper card with mortar recon. Can come in really handy (unlike bren).

I've always been let down by the 15th. Almost depressing. The buff helps though.

Being Scottish I play the 15th a lot. Their Arty can be very effective.
The AVRE was my favorite unit in SD44. I’m sad it’s god awful in SD2 (although it really was just a meme in 44 anyway)

Having played a lot of Warno, and then watching your SD2 videos it makes me wish there were some unique units in Warno. All the units feel so generic tbh

For a tank which depending on the variant is more or less as armored as a Tiger 1, I am not impressed.
I found the Churchills tanks, even the best variants with armor and guns, a big disappointment. They are slow, and even the best armored seem not that interesting to ''tank'' hits while the best armed of dedicated AT units fire at the best german stuff. The special artillery versions are not that useful...but the 15th have good artillery, 17 pdr atg and planes, that's sure...
