same here my colleague! Spend all day wondering did I doff my mask correctly? is that a contusion or actual ground glass on that trauma I wasn't expecting to see? why can't they come up with a lower resistance mask? omg it gets so hot lol. Then I come home to Nora and it all fades away
I read that a big personality refuses to perform on line because *he* dosen't want to look inside people's grubby homes, or their ego traps. But I'm loving this. I would never have seen this side of Norah Jones by sitting in the 47th row at concerts or watching produced videos. I would never have seen what a warm, loving, and beautiful human being she is. Every dark cloud has a silver lining, but for me, Norah's has been golden. Please do this forever.
You no your right this was very timely Norah Jones putting us at ease..! It's Niquil Genra but she can right to every situation not like me stuck in Niquil Genra..! I'm not complaining it's King David's of Israel's blessing from God Niquil Genra music..!
I missed you last night @01:30. I'm in Sussex England, you must be West Coast of America. That looked like a very slow version of vamping on the piano. I think it's died out. It was associated with London pub singing. My old dad taught himself by ear in the early 60's and it was all left hand vamp.
you are helping us reclaim our senses and sensibility by appreciating your beauty and the power of your music. merci, thank you, we are grateful to you.
Dear Norah 4.50 am 8.15.20 .. perfect timing .. for me .. There is a saying .. " When the student is ready the Master will appear " .. & although I heard your 1st record on the radio around the time it was released I only became a bigger fan after Lockdown & isolation .. & this morning feeling a little lost & adrift .. I just made it into the studio & this was the 1st thing that came up on my u- tube .. so now I am sitting at my white Yamaha MX 61 headphones on & you have inspired me .. once again .. & I am wishing you & yours a beautiful day .. Thankyou & as I have read from many comments I am not alone in taking joy from your gift of music to us .. Big love . from a lonely old muso in the Forest in Ye Olde Englande .. LOl ..
Ahoi to all unique fellow beings: "Nothing is like you, nothing was like you and nothing will ever be like you." Do not forget, beloved ones, for every being is essentially wonderful. Love, best regards and a wonderful Valentine's Day. Thank you Norah for this and many other wonderful songs and the feelings they spread in and out. Rock om and on.
I bought your cassete in 2002, when i'm highschool, and this is once of my favourite song. thank you for playing this song, i'm having flashbacks . Greeting from indonesia.
I had been listening to this song since yesterday after a while and stated learning it on guitar. Today i come across this performance. What a wonderful coincidence.
I cant get tired of this. someone needs to collect all these videos and group them up in an mp3 (ok, boomer) folder or in some spotify playlist. I would love to hear these tracks every hour of my quarantine without youtube ads
A love this song and your piano style on this reminds me of my mothers playing, though classically trained in Glasgow she loved the music of Cole Porter and Nat King Cole. How I miss trying to follow the chord boxes above her music as a young lad. Thanks for the memories.x
Like my mother's spinet , strings were to old so I tuned it to 440hz A4 so I tuned it to 432Hz A4, that's like 31% pich low..! Archimedes peacemaking healing pitch..!
Thank you so much for this song. It brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. I get lost in the beauty of the imagination of a love affair. Thank you!
La mejor cosa que pudo pasarme en esta cuarentena fue reencontrarme con tu hermosa voz y tu mágica música Norah ¡Te amo desde siempre Miss Jones, gracias por existir!
There're 2 this morning. There must be an interweb thing about dislikes. Some weird satisfaction gained from spoiling perfect things. But nobody knows who did it so I don't understand the how the gratification works. As the type of personality to do this probably has always existed, I just wonder what kind of things they do in real life for the same gratification. Because there are an awful lot of dislikes where there shouldn't be any, I don't want to wander too hard about that.
Does anyone else love the new quavering in her voice? It's really an exciting insight into what the developed Norah Jones will sound like in the long term. I love it.
Holy Cow, You take me to cartoon land in that song. And that was on your first record, at age 22? When I was that age I was listening to rock, a little country, like Willie you know, more the party Willie songs. Steely Dan was the closest thing to jazz that I came in contact with. And you were into Jazz artists starting at age 7 or something? How does this happen Norah? You are a freak of nature or something, I really wonderful one, I mean that in a nice way. The reference to cartoon land is a Duke Ellington thing, I'm pretty sure his songs were played in cartoons, yup, Betty Boop. Anyhow, that was an incredible piano rendition that you just played here. Maybe when we can all come out of the stupid corona closet, you can be a big band leader. Maybe the world needs a big band. But maybe not, keeping a band together sounds like a lot of work. Maybe just keep it Norah solo, keep it simple, come home and have normal family time and stuff. Love what you do, keep doing it, don't let anything get you down, stay cool NoJo! Love u lots!
I absolutely adore this song so much!! I requested it on the FB page when Norah first started doing these mini concerts. I’d like to believe she saw it. 😂😂 I am a painter and this song pulls at my heart strings so much. It’s possibly my favorite song of hers. At least one of them for sure. ❤️
She lowers my blood pressure every time she sings.. it's like a lullaby ❤️❤️❤️👍😁
Right on brother
You're so crazy good! As an ER doc having a lot of stress lately, you make my days better. Thank you. Thank you!!
♥️ agree
Hang in there Thomas, we need and appreciate you very much!

Thank you my friend for doing good in the world and having fabulous taste at the same time. Killing it my friend.
I love how innocent these first songs were ... deep on the desire of love and no hurt inside
Merci Norah, ta musique et ta voix sont de formidables cadeaux ! Merci infiniment

This song reminds me of being 14, Riverside Drive on 100th street, and the cherry blossoms in the park in Spring.

Excellent. Love that old time piano sound. All she needs now is the sample of a vinyl record playing in the background. Nice!!!
Sooo wonderful 🤗🌞👍🏽🍀 Greetz from the Netherlands 👍🏽
