I lost my sister to cancer 6 years ago. This song made me ugly cry. I don't cry so much anymore but the lyrics really hit me hard. She was attending art school when the cancer hit. She was gone six months later. I heard Wrecked first about a week ago. The lyrics in that one struck a chord in me. I looked up the rest of the songs and found Easy come easy go. Thanks Imagine Dragons for putting my feelings into your music.
I lost my fiancé my best friend 6 months ago. I first heard follow you the day of his burial then I found wrecked 😔.. then I just let their album hit me where it hurt so I could let the tears and pain flow.. they are the epitome of emotional art. We've got Chester Bennington from Linkin Park and Grey Daze along with Mike even though he mostly does rap, especially since Chester died :( Evanescence, Skillet, Breaking Benjamin, Nirvana, Silversun Pickups, Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World, The All-American Rejects, The Killers, Nickleback and many more. Ngl, I think Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park/Grey Daze and them are the only bands I know that are Alternative Rock artists but I'm pretty sure they aren't the only ones I listen to that are and I just don't know it yet... like SOAD aka System Of A Down, Green Day, Three Days Grace, Coldplay, Hoobastank, Snow Patrol, The Fray, uh well ok, maybe just go to my " My Music Madness" and "My Music Madness 2.0" playlist on my redwolfdragon kirangordonDj channel lmao but there are some that aren't "AR" lmao "AR". I have always liked Imagine Dragons, just for the beautiful melodies, and I never understood depression until I lost my husband this past January. Now some of the songs just seem to speak from my soul, this one, Wrecked, Dull Knives, Waves, Crushed - I don't think an artist can write and produce the music they do without having experienced genuine loss, you just end up with pretty fluff instead of music that winds its way around a shattered heart, helping to hold together the pieces.
Dan's voice is enough to touch anyone's heart, your music has brought me safely through storms and I know it will continue to do so
There isn't enough words to describe the feeling this album left me.

I just heard this song for the first time it made me cry… I was in wheelchair going through Something similar I almost died 26 years ago and can never forget the feeling And overwhelming of how powerful gratitude is thank you for reminding me why I’m able to stand on my 2 feet again for people like you believe in miracles
I have mixed feelings. But not in a bad way. The song is melancholic and joyful. Joy because they connect again and melancholy because of the cancer. It’s a bit like wrecked. About emotions. Pain, fear and love. Great song my dragons 🌀

I love how the music and rhythm of the lyrics sound so upbeat. Yet within the lyrics you see glimpses of some sadnesss within the lives of others and your mind drifts away a bit wondering about those lives and how it all turned out for them.
I love the message of that- happy with a hint of sadness, kind of telling the listener that despite everything, you need to keep on living

Imagine Dragons has been my favorite band since Night Visions. When Wrecked came out I instantly loved it, and when I found out the meaning it became my favorite song ever, especially since I was in a long distance relationship and the chorus really spoke to me and how I felt without her around. And THE SAME WEEK this album came out my girlfriend broke up with be because she couldn't handle the stress that came with college, work, and a long distance relationship. So many of the songs in this album make me start bawling when I hear them. I just need to let it go for her sake, I wanna be somebody new even though it's impossible to do that, Monday is my favorite day of the week (yes really) and that song... omg. I would sing wrecked in the car every single day and now I just cry. I would and still will follow her anywhere. And without my partner and my best friend I'm just lonely. I feel like I am being stabbed in the heart by dull knives.
This album is a masterpiece and EVERY SINGLE song speaks to me in a deep and emotional way.

With Night Visions, Smoke+Mirrors, Evolve, Origins and now waiting for Mercury... Back then I’ve never found a band that touched my heart and understood me perfectly, I’ve been here since I was 12, now I’m 20 and I will be here until I see you guys in a concert, and then I will still being here until the day I die. This song is incredible, I have listened to it non stop for hours. At the concert a couple days ago he talked about the origin of the song and some of the loss he has been through. They have become my favorite band and this is my favorite song of theirs. I will be honest I am struggling, but this helps, I hope you are all ok out there too!

My Grandmother passed away from cancer 2 years ago and I heard wrecked healed me and when I finished the song I saw “Easy come Easy go” and when I listed to it I felt that more people knew what I was going through and I am so thankful for the memories I have with her, sadly my brother saw her pass only at two years old. I wondered if I didn’t pray to God hard enough ,but it was her time and I know she is in Heaven petting Lions and running around and having fun so that’s all that matters, see you soon Grandma and thank you Imagine Dragons. ☺️

The stress has weighed so heavily on my shoulders, even my neck became stiff and started hurting. Someday my flesh will return to the dust of the earth it came from too, and that's the reality displayed in front of me. I don't think it means the end of our essence though, because the soul is made of energy, and energy is eternal. #heartfelt

As a person that suffered from Bone Cancer not so long ago, this song feels like a hug to the heart, more in the days of hard pain. I got really surprised when I pay attention to the lyrics, thanks for making me feel a bit less alone. This is my new hymn.
