Spoilers for The Falcon And The Winter Soldier up till 1x04!
I'm really glad they showed Bucky's backstory in Wakanda in 1x04, it was such a powerful scene. Still have no idea why they went with "ржавой" but oh well. Super excited about the last two episodes!

The way he cried I was like hurt him one more time I dare you. Sebastian Stan deserves a crown man. His acting skills are out of this world.
Sebastian stan makes 4 million a year and personally I think he should be payed more
@@Alisha_xo Agreed he is such an amazing actor.
In fact, I have watched videos showing demonic possession rituals before the filming, so the actors and actresses can do their roles with that much perfection. It means that they're not who play the roles, but the spirits channeled through them!
Also, many singers, a lot of men and women like Beyoncé and Eminem confess their performance come out of another personality, who takes place when they are at the stage.
Go for the videos of Little Light Studios, like the video titled "Artists channeling spirits" for more info, it's incredibly amazing!
His acting is immaculate
@@Alisha_xo i agree he should be payed more, he’s a brilliant actor and pretty iconic too plus he got a huge fandom. he deserve more recognition tbh
Bucky truly is the MCU’s tragedy.
The mcu is filled with tragedies honestly. Wanda, Walker, Pietro, Bucky and more
We need a Bucky movie. Sebastien Stan deserves one.
@@t-rex4622 Natasha
such a complex character I love him. He's my fav.
Ryt next to Wanda.
When he started crying after she said the words I cried too like after so many years of Bucky being told and repeated those words to constantly to finally have those words no longer affect him that was big emotional moment for Bucky
omg me too and i was sitting in school😭
The saddest part is that while the words no longer trigger the Winter Soldier, they absolutely have an effect on Bucky. Those words are tied to his worst memories, & while they can no longer control him, they certainly still terrify him. You could see it on his face & hear it in his voice when Ayo said the words in episode 4, & if you pay attention to Bucky's body language when he confronts Zemo in episode 3, he was scared of hearing them. The words no longer trigger the Winter Soldier; instead, they trigger Bucky's PTSD.
@@thedailybullshit4033 Well said!
I HADN'T CAUGHT THAT THE "YOU SURE ABOUT THIS" WAS A STEVE CALLBACK I'M LOSING MY MIND.
Oh my god this video was absolutely insanely beautiful, my god!!
Thank you!^_^
im literally waiting on you to make a video including all those scenes just to cry as hard as i can
@@discogirl2021 i have some good and yet equally bad tearjerking news for you
Sh*t!!!!!!! Me neither!!
I know! Also at the end of the series when he tells Yori about his son he says “I didn’t have a choice.” which is another Steve line. T.T
Seeing Bucky cry when his trigger words are being spoken to him literally breaks my heart. He went through so much pain and he finally gets to be free from all of it. My comfort character, I love you Bucky 💜
Well, yes I guess I did want to cry. You captured Bucky’s trauma in his enslavement and his freedom from it so perfectly. Wow. 🙌🏼
Thank you!:)
Sebastian Stan nailed this scene sooo perfectly 😭 I'm crying
The way his voice cracks just a little when he says “Then he was wrong about me.” My heart dropped at that point.
HIS ACTING!
4:30 _and the Emmy goes to..._
I mean COME ON, that’s my man! I’m so proud of how far Sebastian has come and this VIDEO is AMAZING! Just puts ALL THIS DRAMATIC WEIGHT on his character arc up to this point! Jeez Louise! Just *_Chills_*
Thank you for watching!:’)
His smile when she said “your free” is honestly one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever seen- he looks so relieved. 10/10 acting from Sebastian here
"If he was wrong about you then he was wrong about me" That voice crack broke my heart
All that pain. All that guilt. All that _shame,_
and that *_Fragile Hope_* as he looks up at her at the end.
_'Is it true? Is this nightmare finally ended?'_
*"You're Free."*
Oh, _GOD._ The *_RELIEF!_*
This my most favourite RUclips comment till now.
This is a fantastic video that perfectly illustrates Bucky's enslavement, torture and inability to trust his own mind. Sometimes I think we forget just how much torture and trauma this character has gone through for like 90 years. Each movie and now episode of F+WS really builds upon his character and they really let Sebastian Stan shine and dig in deep to this character. I don't think this character can be ignored or forgotten about anymore, he's probably one of the most complex and interesting and badass characters in the entire MCU. I hope his character stays around for a long time, I can see him going into so many different movies/shows since he's such a unique character that is finally free!
After watching TFATWS I have realized how much pain Bucky went trough. It´s very painful to watch, I´m crying right now. Your video is perfect, if can turn on these emotions.
I love that they show these glimpses of the characters that we would have never gotten in movies. Glad you enjoyed the video, thank you!
The fact that he said "it's not going to work" broke my heart because Bucky felt the need to say it out loud just to reassure himself
Yes, scarlet witch might be the most powerful avenger, but to be able to carry and break through such amount of grief and trauma, bucky carries the crown.
And the fact that he is still a good man.. I mean, most people would take this as an opportunity for their villain origin story.
She went through some fucked up shit too
"Well if he was wrong about you, then he was wrong about me!" Sebastian Stan's delivery of that line is just perfection
Seb is such an incredible actor, and Bucky really is the most complex character (and my favorite) in the MCU
I guess that’s the first time we see Bucky cry so hard for the past years. He couldn’t even believe that he’s free from what HYDRA planted into his mind
Who else was crying they eyes out on this scene? 😭✋
Dude Sebastian Stan is living this role! His Acting is incredible and when he is really portraying buckys emotional side is just beautiful and sad
I wonder if the reason Bucky looked so shocked when she disarmed him was because Wakanda putting a fail-safe in the arm felt like a betrayal of his belief that they believed in him.
WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT IM NEVER GONNA STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT NOW
Why did you do this to me 😭😭😭😭
That makes so much sense
Omg. What. I never thought of it that way.
That's what I thought.
Seb said in an interview that that was Ayo's way of reminding him of his place before the Wakandans. The fact that they have given him the arm and that they can take it back whenever they want to. Her way of saying, "don't use it against us."
But yes, it kind of affected Bucky's mental health in a way. It improved only after Sam's words of motivation in episode 5.
it broke my heart to see him cry bucky doesnt need that pain
I read those tears as tears of catharsis, maybe even joy, at finally being free...of course, they are also tears of grief over what had been stolen from him...
I FELT it when he cried. It was pain and anger. When he said ''I'm not a killer anymore'', I wept, because he still feels that darkness within him, but he wants to do good. When he said to steve in civil war when steve told him that ''what he did all those years, wasn't him'', he replied ''i know, but it was still me''. No one will ever begin to understand how trapped inside himself he was. He may not have had his free will, but he still had the instincts of a killer. he hurt people, and he remembers his hands doing unspeakable things. so it's not enough to say, '' it wasn't him'', because he still holds all that trauma and suffering. This is why he has one of the BEST developed character arcs in the entire MCU. He's got his free will and control back, in FWS he's deciding what he wants to do with it, but he still needs to redeem himself FOR HIMSELF. A pardon is not enough, that's why he was caring for one of his victim's dads. The guilt eats him up but it's what keeps him going. I love Bucky so much, he has darkness, but so does everyone, and he is learning to live with himself as a whole person. (missing 1 arm, lol) The point is, Bucky has come so far, and I'm glad we get to see all facets of his recovery. It's more than i can hope for.
“Do you even remember them?”
“I remember *all* of them.”
Even before this show, I sympathized deeply with Bucky. Imagine, being brainwashed into losing your memory of family and friend to become a killing machine for 70 years. This show just solidified the sympathy even more. That scene with Ayo in Wakanda was utterly moving, he deserved a big tight hug. His arc is my favorite among the supporting characters and this edit brilliantly illustrates everything Bucky had go through 👏🏽
I have no words...just keep doing what you're doing. You make this world a little better with your art.
Thank you so much:')
In the opening of the episode I just wanted to sit next to bucky and give him a side hug. Tho it was a fictional character sebs acting in the scene makes me want to him a hug if I ever run into him
After WandaVision, and TFATWS, if we aren't getting nominations for Marvel in Emmy's, we riot!
For real!
I wanna sue the Emmy board for not giving any nominations to Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russel, Anthony Mackie and Carl Lumbly.
Fact: Buckys scream as he felt out of thr train is the scarry sound in thr bucky theme
i cannot explain how amazing seb brings this character to life. this video is fantastic, really puts together everything happening inside his head
Thank you!
"That's The Best Acting I've Ever Seen"-Wanda Ivanova
sebs acting in the scene were she says the trigger words is amazing he is honestly such an incredible actor and same goes for everyone in the series so far! (also i really don’t think wyatt Russel deserves hate at all he portrayed the character really well)
Sebastian and Wyatt began and ended this episode, respectively, with powerful acting. They both deserve credit and appreciation.
@@wahn10 yes i know right we should see wyatt in more films he did really good!!
TFATWS has some of the best acting in the entire MCU. Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russel, Anthony Mackie, Carl Lumbly were brilliant.
@@iamgroot2810 yes honestly so amazing
Hearing the different people say his trigger words just makes me feel something, can't put my finger on it. But seeing the relief of him finally free from the curse of the winter soldier, i am so proud of my boi Bucky!
Rage at the way he was used all those years? Who knows how many Hydra agents said those words, triggering him, sending him to kill. They treated him like a piece of meat. A barely controlled rabid animal to sic on whoever they wanted eliminated.
And all the while, he was trapped inside himself, powerless to stop it, a helpless witness to the atrocities committed with his hands.
Admittedly it's the "trying to be a better person and heal from trauma" trope from Bucky that resonates a fair bit with me and makes him one of my favourite characters in the MCU. Congrats on the edit, loved it :)
Thank you!
This is pure Perfection! A 10-year character development told in 5 minutes. It hurts so bad to watch this, but I love it....watched it 4 times in a row....
Wow thank you so much :’)
By far the most complex character in the MCU has the most tragic backstory
Seeing this and watching him fall apart made me ugly cry. When he says "I'm not a killer anymore" that sent chills down my spine. Such phenomenal acting.
OMG PAIN....Poor little Boy went from being this sweet, charming, sincere military boy, to a lonely, brainwashed killing machine. The pain this character endured and overcame..….He deserves the world!! He is one of the best things that happened in the MCU.
And Sebastian Stan! Thanks to u for playing this role like this and giving it Life!!! You are the Hero man! Love you so freaking much!!
Aight I'm gonna go back to crying..
Sebastian is killing this role man that scence was Beautiful hes writting in this show is amazing! Love this edit!!! Feels like a freakng movie!
He kills every role he's ever been in I think. I feel like he's the best at playing super dark and intense tortured characters
Oh wow. I'm speechless, this is sooo good. I love the way you combine the trigger words spoken by three different people with those pictures. I just watched 1x04 and I'm haunted by that first scene, I wanted to see Bucky cry but now that I have... The fear, the hopelessness, that little "It's not gonna work" broke me. And how perfect is your ending? Ending this with the start, when he first shipped out, just imagine if he'd never gone to war, damn.
I love playing around with the full circle concept and then throwing a little bit of "what if" into that, so I'm glad you liked that in this video! Thank you for watching:)
Finally they're exploring what he went through..70+ years of missions and fights and killings fir which he's enduring enormous guilt. Loosing every single thing he loved. Finally people see that Steve did the righteous thing in civil war. John walker is just like tony in civil war trying to kill bucky. Powerful but Cocky, egoistical Consumed by rage and vengeance.
When he heard the last words of the activation and nothing happened that really hitted differently
I cried when he cried. I cried more when he started to smile through those tears. That was one of the most emotional MCU moments ever.
I'm sobbing, seb is such a great actor adn he has exucuted every scene perfectly as bucky and the winter soilder
"Get this man a Hug" - King T'challa
Wow, no dislikes. Everyone seems to love Sebastian stan, as they should
One of the few characters that had to portray so much emotion.
Holy, holy, holy cow. Watching this was like putting my heart in a meat grinder. Bucky has been through SO. MUCH. This is such a heart smashing encapsulation of that. This is why I love him and I just desperately want him to be okay - he has been through so, so, much. (And your editing is freaking incredibly perfect, as always. ALWAYS.)
Thank you so much!:)
Wow, how many parallels! I love how in this episode (1x04) Bucky's history has come full circle with hearing those words from Winter's Soldier book and to not be affected by it. It was so emotional moment and I glad that they showed this flashback from Wakanda.
Holy crap, this was so beautiful and tragic and really resonated with who James Barnes IS, rather than who he was made to be all those years. He's one of the most misunderstood characters in the mcu, thank you so much for creating this, it was absolutely heart-breaking, in the right way.
This is, hands down, quite possibly the best fan edit I have ever scene. What a fantastic way to show all these records, all his metamorphosis. Thank you.
Thank you!☺️
The first scene of Episode 4... i have no words about it❤❤ just heartbreaking and happiness. Its done.... Bucky is finally free and is no longer a killer. He did it! Yes Wakanda helped him but it was Buckys will to be free and no longe the fist of Hydra.... I'm so proude of him❤
Serum amplifies everything that's inside. If good becomes great then Bucky's greatness is his will.
Sebastian Stan's acting skills are INSANE
Loki and bucky have most heartbreaking stories in mcu
i might be wrong here but "you are free" is i think the only time we have ever seen bucky laugh in the entirety of the mcu
Bucky is the best MCU character
BUCKY IS TOO PRECIOUS!! ISTG SEBASTIAN IS SUCH A GOOD ACTOR AND NOW IM ATTACHED TO A DUDE WITH A METAL ARM-
NO REGRETS
2:50 BROKE ME- I CANT STOP CRYING SEND HELP
The look of hurt on his face when Ayo disarmed him
When Zola said at 2:40, ‘ you are to be the new face of Hydra’ and we see Bucky in Wakanda, in tears finally being free from the words, I broken down, that was such a powerful moment in this video... 😭😭😭
The amount of tears I shed for this.... I’m truly in pieces and awe 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭
When he tries to resist 😭😢
To all the veterans, especially combat veterans, I hope you see this. This video gives a great insight on how a lot of us feel. The soft smirk and then look of despair and hopelessness, wondering if we’ll ever be free of our own traumatizing thoughts.
offtop but as a Russian im surprisingly pleased with the pronunciation of russian words at the start of the 1x04
the video is such a beautiful piece 🥺🥺

you captured bucky so perfect! Sebastian Stan is amazing at this character and will be so sad once he is no longer on the screen. Beautiful job.
Thank you!
This is so beautiful you really encapsulated Bucky's journey back to himself.
Thank you!
I swear it's the best video about James I've even watched, and I've watched A LOT. 💔
Thank you, I appreciate it!
THIS IS SO AMAZING BUT IM LITERALLY IN A POOL OF MY OWN TEARS
:')))
Bucky is my favourite ❤️❤️
uhh not me re-watching this for the millionth time and falling more in love with bucky than i already am
Get this man an Oscar!
This video really made me cry. Bucky has been through a lot, the war, Hydra, the Snap. His life really was like hell for him. Seeing this all made me cry so bad. I felt his pain, and that is really hard for me in movies. All he wanted was peace and to be left alone. He never wanted to fight, not even in World War Two. He was sent to fight, he said that he signed himself up for it so Steve wouldn't feel bad about himself. James Buchanan Barnes is one of my comfort characters. He really deserves more than he already got in life. And then John Walker making Captain America a bad name doesn't help either. I totally get why Bucky wanted to keep the shield and not give it away as Sam did.
Most intriging character of all time..exceptional actor...
i wanna watch this so bad but i haven't seen f&ws yet so i'm leaving a comment to boost what i KNOW is going to be an amazing video when i finally can watch it without spoilers.
Oh man you definitely should watch the episodes first, this video is super spoilery!
I’m an addict in recovery and this hit different
2 years sober
Hit different for me too. Not addict, but other life....mental...stuff, so to speak. Took decades to overcome, but when I did, it felt like what I saw in his performance in ep 4.
@@MichaelSmith-eg1ie congrats man
This video makes me want to cry but I just want to hold him and tell him that everything is gonna be okay.
It sure does shakes up my emotions but he does deserve his own movie.
Sebastian stan . That sense was a clever
. . As perfect .am been crying too. ♡♡
My poor baby. I just want to give him the tightest hug! He’s been through so much!!
It took me a moment when that scene happened of Ayo saying the phrases and he started crying. I had to pause and realize what was happening because at first, I was just crying because he was crying but then it hit me and that just made me breakdown into tears like I was balling.
People say Bucky is nerfed that may not really be the case... a sense morality of heroes makes them seemingly weak which kinda is the gag of these MCU & DC movies alike...
Steve Rogers was consistent throughout his tenure..
Dude, anyone from the Avengers can be the "strongest" if they are just mindlessly killing people just like that. That's why John Wick or folks in the 'Matrix' are "strong." Sense of morality, humanity and the will to hold back makes one a hero, both Marvel and DC.
Winter Soldier had no free will, he was in Hydra's control.
Also Bucky had his moment of self actualisation when he saved hostages at the end. Maybe in future films we'll see him fight more as a hero.
Also Steve Rogers is a defensive fighter, technically.
We need a Winter Soldier movie/series that has gives off the same kind of atmosphere that this does, it’s dark, but full of regret and sadness, and pain, trouble and disgust of what he has done, wishing he could control it but isn’t able to
“Nature made him a freak
Man made him a weapon
But God made it last too long”
Thanks to this period in which movies and series are released online, the image quality is already optimal, while before it took a long time to find the clips of the films that were just released. so the edits are better. Good work!
Thanks!
OH my god one of the best video BUcky I've seen and believe me I've seen so many. I'm in love with this character so much stroy and pain for him.
Thank you so much!:)
OMG, you captured everything perfectly, in my opinion no one has suffered as much as Bucky ;(
He absolutely has! Thank you so much for watching.
Going from civil war Zemo, to Buckys handler, to TFAWS Zemo, to Ayo is so strange, you can really hear the difference in each of them, Ayo is cautious and kind, Zemo is purposefully trying to trigger Bucky while also being a bit intimidatind by him, and the handler is just calm and in control. Really sad stuff, but beautiful execution from both you and Marvel 👍❤️
The way the handler just casually said "good morning soldier" after Bucky was dragged from his cryto chamber straight to the chair to be electrocuted and "prepared" for the mission with the trigger words. As though he'd just woken up a nice, restful night's sleep or something. Man, that was *cold*.
This is the only character in the media who really became a villain against his will.
My heart is broken, like actually shattered
Ugh, this man hurts me with his pain and he just needs all the hugs in the world! Beautifully done, love those parallels!
thank you!
him and Fitz and Sam and Trip are my favorite Marvel Heroes
oh my god this was perfect words can’t describe how good this video is and how sad it made me feel for bucky, you did an awesome job!
Thank you!
This is the most amazing edit best one I’ve ever seen, really puts into perspective Buckys pain ❤️🥺
Thank you!
"You are free."
From the mind control, yes. From his past, no. This video was so very good at capturing this pain. 👍
Thank you!:)
Just remember one thing.
We'll see how powerful is he !
How destructive is he !
When it comes for loyalty.
Wait for the episodes
Can't believe I dropped a tear :'( you can really feel Bucky's grief.
Just like everyone before me - I cried too ... “You’re free” 🦾
When people talk about an actors range it usually requires multiple characters they have portrayed, with Sebastian Stan you can simply look at his portrayal of one James Buchanan Barnes throughout the years.
It is amazing when you think about him having to play Bucky as a young man untouched by grief and trauma, then transition to the brainwashed Winter Soldier, and now a third iteration of his character, not quite Bucky, not quite Winter Soldier but something in between. Balancing those and keeping each believable as well as performing a large percentage of the physical stunts through the movies is really an accomplishment. I always wished he had more dialogue but he has said he actually enjoyed being forced to emote the character through his body movements and eyes.
Меня так тронула судьба Баки,столько боли,страданий, одиночества😔хочется для него покоя и счастья.
He makes me cry so much in the show and now it's you. Beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you!
Tha was beautifully done. The moment the scene was shown in the series I was so excited to see how in transformed. It was played fantastically by Sebastian Stan. For such a young actor his acting range is like the actors during the Golden Age of Cinema. Bravo!
Thank you!
4:30 that's what I call, an Emmy worthy look. 😇
"I am James "Bucky" Barnes," And the falls fell in and the caves broken down, and the floodgates opened as it always did. For that was something I was long ago, but now ... it is gone.
Yes... I did make that up on the spot, and yes, I did cry when he said that. But not for the reasons you would think...
