Just to lighten you guys up on scholarships. 30 years ago till late 90's most premier league universities offered tuition waivers to most international students. However, they stopped doing it for all as international student population blossomed in the elite universities. International students are more business for them. Especially attracting affluent kids from China. However, there are tier 2 and tier 3 universities here in the US which still offers tuition waivers. These are really good universities trying to attract international students. US companies aren't biased in hiring candidates from top elite universities unlike in India. Thus, many IIT students from India join tier 2 or 3 universities here with 100% tuition waivers and additional funding. They graduate with excess finance in their hand with well paying jobs from Quant firms. Next, regarding domains, For an International student interested in Mechanical, Architecture, pharmaceutical or tech The US is right place to study and earn a living because of plethora of jobs in various subdivisions in their discipline. Italy is an ailing economy. The UAE is moving towards finance and tourism rather than petroleum. Europe in general is closing up due to migrant exodus. Canada loves immigrants but rarely any job in ones domain or any, except trucking.
