Prob my fav off of the album! I saw this guy in Raleigh, NC last year opening for Zakk Wylde and going into the show, I had no clue who he was. He walks out and my jaw drops at how massive he is and his hair is. We were covering the show and I was in the photopit taking pictures. We get 3 songs to get our pix and I kept forgetting that I was supposed to be snapping pix because I kept watching this guy. He was so freakin' good! Then, we had the opportunity to interview him right before the album came out and he's one of the coolest dudes that we've ever talked to. He was more like the guy standing next to you at a show rockin' out with you than a rock star. Incredibly humble and grounded and so much fun to chat with. This album is on our Best Albums of 2023 because it is do damn solid from beginning to end. We love this guy and can''t wait to see him again!
I had a similar experience with Brand New Sin. I saw them open for BLS, then again for Type O Negative. For Type O there weren't many fans in the crowd yet for the first opener, but Joe from BNS was out there hanging with us and rocking out and chatting between songs. He seemed like just an all around good guy. When their set was over, he disappeared, then popped up on stage, ready to go.
If I could play like JJN, I would probably carry my guitar and amp around and start ripping everywhere I went! Grocery store, coffee shop, bank…you name it!
Every now and then the RUclips algorithm gods will reward my patience with something completely new and out of the blue that blows my mind out my assholes. Thank you Google lord. Never heard of this guy before this moment and he is a revelation.
