Saatva vs Avocado Mattress Review (Which Bed Is Right For You?). In this video, Owen who is a Certified Sleep Science Coach compares the Avocado vs Saatva mattresses. To be more specific, Owen compares the Avocado Green vs Saatva and Avocado Latex vs Saatva mattress. Avocado is known as a natural and organic mattress brand, while Saatva is more so known for being a luxury innerspring mattress. Owen covers what each mattress is made of, what they feel like and what types of sleepers (side, back, stomach) each is best for. Overall, the Avocado bed in a box mattresses have a latex feel and fall on the firmer end of the spectrum. As such, the Avocado mattresses tend to skew more towards back and stomach sleepers. The Saatva mattress, on the other hand, comes in multiple different firmness models, and thus, comfortably accommodate sleepers in all positions. I'm a combination back and side sleeper who also sleeps hot. The coil on coil design of the Saatva really makes it my pick. The pillow top appeals to me as I suffer arthritis and joint issues and the softer feel would negate joint binding. Great review

I would love to try the avocado.
I would prefer the saatva because Of the plush pillow top, it looks very comfortable and I would probably enjoy that.
I'm really dialing my preference in. I definitely lean toward "plush* top with firmness under it. I've looked at the Avacado for a long time, and just hearing your reviews once wasn't enough for me to digest the differences and distinguish what I need amongst the sea of choices.. it's in the listening several times to your videos and different comparisons, along with trying the mattresses that I have available in stores near me to tune into your firmness rating system, that, for me, helps solidify my understanding.
I really do want a sustainable conscientious mattress, but have been leery of the price tag- Brentwood definitely speaks to bringing this into a competitive realm for pricing.
But given these 2 options- I do really like the Saatva Plush and would love to try it!🪶
Even with the topper, I'm not sure if the Avacado would be "plush" enough to soften the pressure point under my shoulder while side sleeping. And I've gleaned that that's the ultimate determinate for my comfort.
I am leaning towards the Avocado Green.
I think the Saarva mattress is the one I would pick. The feel and price is what gets my attention.
Of the two mattresses in this review, I would go for the Saatva, becuase it seems softer :)

Saatva is the best overall mattress I’ve tried and I’ve tried them all. Very comfortable and organic. Far superior to Casper Nova or Purple.

Giveaway - I think I'd go with the Saatva for the support and tradition feel.
Giveaway: I think the Saatva Luxury Firm option would be my choice due to the medium firm range, I am not really a firm mattress fan.

Of these two, the Avocado is right for me. I like a latex foam.
I would pick Avocado because of pocketed coils and latex foam rather than memo foam of Saatva.
I think the Sativa would work better for me, the Avaocado seams too firm, even with the pillow top.
That's a hard one, because both are great. But as of right now I would go with an avocado mattress. 🥑
Just got the Avacado green pillow top King. Absolutely love it. I am highly allergic to memory foam,,don’t know why. This mattress is beyond comfortable. Would recommend to anyone👍👍

Giveaway: I think I would benefit most from the Saatva HD. My husband and I both are side sleepers and heavy people. We are always in pain in hips and back. Plush soft would be my choice.
Which one has less off-gassing (or ideally, no off-gassing)

Giveaway: saatva and avocado seem like great beds however the avocado sound great except when you said it had wool in it. I am allergic to wool. The saatva would be softer for me

Giveaway: Well I can't see me actually picking either one of these mattresses. They are regular coil mattresses and I'm looking for a memory foam mattress. All the coil ones are so heavy and I need to keep my bed against the wall and changing the sheets is rather an effort with coil mattresses. So I will have to pass on this decision.

Why would you want a lot of bounce? Bounce sucks. It’s like sleeping on an air mattress.

I'd have to say the "Saatva" mattress. I'm trying to get out of that traditional coil-style bed. So for the Avocado, I'd say thumbs down for me.
Just sent back a Saatva Luxury Firm. Nothing firm about that mattress. Like sleeping on a marshmallow. Killed my back. Will say they gave me no problem with getting my money back minus the $99.00 and coming to pick it up.

AVOID AVOCADO MATTRESS!!! This overpriced mattress was a nightmare. Took few months to receive it, then within a year, it started sinking, and we started getting body pain. The warranty process was so long and complicated we ended up just donating the mattress. What a waste of $3,000. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. It's very unfortunate because I had high hopes for this so called organic mattress company! Biggest wasteful purchase of our lives!
