Saatva Latex Hybrid Review (NEW Luxury Mattress!). This video is all about the newest hybrid latex mattress on the scene. Saatva is best known for their affordable luxury beds, including the flagship Saatva mattress as well as Loom and Leaf, which is a high end memory foam mattress. Even so the company offers Zenhaven, a latex mattress, they recently launched Saatva Latex Hybrid in order to compete with the likes of Avocado Green Mattress, My Green Mattress, and Awara Sleep. The bed has coils for support and latex foam for comfort. As such, it has a bouncy/responsive feel and tends to be really efficient in terms of temperature regulation. It also has organic cotton and organic wool as well as talalay latex foam, which is a breathable, responsive foam made of natural materials.

Having had the Saatva Latex Hybrid for a year now. I can comfortably say it's an amazing bed for the money.

This bed.. This bed! I just got it 3 day ago so I only have 3 nights of experience but wow wow wow. It’s really fantastic so far, it’s somehow both firm and soft, like once you sink in a little bit it tightens up and cradles you. If that makes sense, I’m no expert reviewer. The real test for me will be longevity- how long until there’s dips that are distributive to sleep? But for now, I’m sleeping through the night again and not waking up with a stiff back.
Side note: Im a side sleeper and a pretty hefty fella, my wife is small and thin and we both like it.
I am mostly a side sleeper but also like sleeping on my back. How has this mattress been for you? Any pain after sleeping on your side? Thanks.
@@carterblanc7856 Actually had to return it because my wife thought to was too soft. the bed we have now is like the Flintstones rock beds. But I very much enjoyed it while I had it, never had pain. My wife was having back pain however, after a couple weeks

Had this one for 8 months now.
I have to disagree with what many reviewers are rating its firmness at. It is soft compared to a stone slab, but I would definitely categorize this one as quite firm versus the mid to mid-firm being reported in reviews.
I am a side sleeper, and I'd say it has forced me to compromise to back sleeping due to pressure point discomfort on my shoulders and hips.
I do prefer firmer mattresses so I've kept it till now, but after a recent episode of some serious back pain I've been dealing with, it has been rough.
As someone who has occasional back issues, this has prompted me to now exchange the latex Hybrid and will be trying something a bit more supple for the times where I'm sleeping with a jacked-up back.
I like that this brand is natural&organic, also the motion isolation is a nice bonus. It would be interesting to test out on my own.
I like that its firmer and should work well for a heavier combo sleep such as myself.
I liked it, I think latex beds are awesome and this will be a very good addition to the Saatva lineup!
Awesome information. I am a combination back and side sleeper and I sleep hot. Latex shouldn't trap as much heat and the coils also provide additional airflow. I love the durability the latex and natural materials provide and think this made my wishlist. As I prefer a medium firm feel and again combo sleep, I'd like to feel the materials and see is pressure issues occur on my shoulders. Great review

With so many beds online you really do save me time saatva sounds good wish it was lifetime warranty
I like the Saatva Latex hybrid. First, I prefer latex to memory foam. It's natural, springy and does not retain heat. Also, latex is responsive, whereas memory foam is sinking. Also, it's rare to see hybrids with latex. I would definitely consider this for my next mattress.
i just purchased this, so we'll see how it goes. i always tend to lean firmer in a mattress, bc you can always soften it up with a topper.
I also went with their adjustable base plus.

Seems like the Saatva hybrid would be right up my alley , love hybrid latex beds and they seem to be on the firmer side which I also like ... just a tad pricey for me
I think I like some of the upgraded touches they did on this one. But it seems like it still might be a bit to firm for me as a side sleeper with SIACTICA.
I have been searching for a mattress and bought two that weren't quite right. It has been such a process. I am thin about 130 lbs, but was in a car accident so I get neck and back pain, and am a strict side sleeper! Looking for something soft with a little bit of give, but not usually a fan of the kind of memory foam where I sink. Need something with proper support to help with pain, and I'm kind of picky about quilting, as I like a pillowtop but not one with large divots. Any recommendations?
This mattress looks lovely... and super bouncy. For a light sleeper who doesn't sleep alone it might be a challenge, but boy does it sound like it would sleep cooler!!
I think the Saatva Latex Hybrid mattress definitely fits the bill as a luxury mattress and has a lot of features that I'm interested in.
I actually looked at this and am considering gifting my daughter and her husband with one.
I currently have a Saatva mattress and am very pleased....however, had the latex option been around when I purchased, I would have sided with the latex..
I think it sounds & looks like a good mattress! I am curious about how comfortable latex is-I'd want to lay on one before deciding to purchase a Saatva Latex hybrid. The fact its a hybrid already has me (don't like all foam ) ,but it is more expensive than I'd like to spend and I'd like better motion isolation since I come into bed hrs after the hubby and ALWAYS wake him up.
Would you recommend their classic or the hybrid?
I think the latex hybrid combination of the Saatva mattress is a great option. From personal experience latex lasts much longer than memory foam.
I think most types of sleepers will definitely love the Saatva Latex Hybrid👍 However, the Saatva Latex Hybrid is not the best bed for me personally, because i prefer an all foam feel with a softer firmness :) It is also quite pricey for me!

I love that the bed is made of natural materials and that it's a hybrid, however being more of a side siebert sleeper I don't think it will be soft enough for me.
I currently have a classic luxury firm and a classic plush; great mattresses, but I’m still looking for something a little softer. I never wake up with back pain anymore. I still want more pressure point relief. This may be too far for me.
I have memory foam and am over it. I want to try the latex. I think I would prefer the firmness.
Can this mattress be used on adjustable bed frame without damaging the mattress?
It looks like a nice bed for someone who doesn’t like memory foam and prefers a firmer bed but, it doesn’t look like something I’d like since I like softer beds and enjoy that sinking in feeling with memory foam.

Bought one a week ago just got it Yesterday!! It's not that firm as people think!!!! The pillow top look makes it less firm!!! Love it!
It seems like a nice bed. It’s probably going to be a little too firm for me though but I do like the fact it’s made up of organic materials.
I'm greatly leaning toward a latex hybrid, Saatva could definitely be in the running. Pricy but I haven't really heard too many negative comments about them.

I am allergic to lanolin and wool. I understand wool is used as a fire retardant but will I feel or notice the wool?

How thick is the laytex?
Sounds great for some people but not for me. I need a softer mattress, strict lightweight side sleeper.

I just wonder if when sleeping on the side, if it would be too hard on the shoulders (since I have shoulder pain). But looks like a great mattress!
What do I think of the new Saatva Latex Hybrid? I think the Saatva Latex Hybrid sounds very luxurious! The bed is a great luxury option for those who need/prefer hybrid models. This mattress offers comfort, support, and durability in addition to the beautiful style that Saatva is known for. Plus, the bed is environmentally friendly! Overall, the Saatva Latex Hybrid seems like a top tier mattress! The only downside for me is that they charge for returns. As always, thank you for another AWESOME review! After 5 weeks I am sending this expensive brick back. I was totally sold on the construction, and figuring it was a direct to consumer purchase, I would get more value than a $4000 mattress. At $2200, it feels like a mattress from 30yrs ago. I just can't explain, other than way to firm from my 180lbs. I was so hyped to get latex and innerspring, total disappointment. I will go back to the name brands at retail outlets and spend more, because $2200 is not cheap, and I was hoping to have it for 10yrs. My girlfriend hates it too. She sleeps on a more expensive hybrid, and doesn't feel the Saatva is worth anymore than a $500 mattress. I agree. BTW, the delivery of my mattress was delayed by 2 months, and there was no customer service to address my original delivery date. Horrible service, but delivery was well done. I just hope this respond back to my request for return. Buyer beware, very firm, and nothing special. I am just baffled and disappointed in myself for buying into the hype.

Do you think those buttons in the Saatva Hybrid would mess with you or would you be able to feel them when laying on it? I am very close to purchasing this mattress with an adjustable base... Do you think it would be cool with an adjustable base? The firmness doesn't bother me at all - in fact - I think it's healthier for people's back :)
In general, (and with this new one too) I think the Saatva beds are too firm for what I'm looking for. I'm also don't like the return fee.

I am very intrigued by the new Saatva Latex mattress. I've avoided Saatva in the past because our master is at the top of a narrow curving stairway and I figured a mattress in a box would be much easier to move up there. But we're about to move, so that will no longer be an issue. Saatva may work it's way into my top picks.

@kER vet I didn't. I did buy one from Brooklyn Bedding. I liked it, but my husband said it was too firm, so we got a refund and tried another. Still haven't found a mattress that I absolutely love. We just settled for one that we could afford and didn't hate.

I like the Saatva Latex Hybrid because it is natural and organic and it doesn't have any hot and sweaty memory foam, but I think it would be too firm for this sidesleeper.

Giveaway: the mattress sound great for anyone who prefers/needs a hybrid mattress. Price point seems spot on for what you get and the materials are sustainable on top of it. Personally I prefer more of a foam/memory foam feel, especially since husband is a side sleeper.

I really like the features of this bed but I'm concerned with the$1800.00 price tag. Ouch!!!!
Most people try to have a matress for 10 years so I don't know if it is so bouncy I might not like it yet the downside of it is you can't go to Macy's and to your local matress store and try it If your buying something for 10 years that you should be able to try it like it before purchasing it yet they might have a decent return policy but why buy an item where there is a high probaility of you returning it.

Giveaway: this mattress is probably not the one for me personally! I do see the appeal for people that enjoy a firmer mattress, but I prefer a more memory foam feel and tend to lean toward the softer mattresses. I do appreciate the eco-friendliness of this bed though! ☺️

This looks like a well-constructed mattress. However, I don’t think that it would be ideal for me. It’s on the firmer side, and the layer of wool fabric sounds like it would trap in heat. I like to sleep cool to prevent any sweating

I had this for over a year. Couldn't stand it. Too firm for this mostly side sleeper 210 lb male. Kept thinking I'd break it in but couldn't take the lower back and shoulder pain I woke up with each morning. I guess I am a medium to medium soft person.
Giveaway: I looked at this mattress on the Saatva website. The latex layer isn’t thick enough. I need a true medium mattress, medium firm would hurt my shoulders and hips.

I think it’s a good mattress but not for me, as a side sleeper. I need something plush. I’ve had a lot of issues with trying to find a mattress soft and supportive enough to address my hip and lower back pain.
