I recently started to crochet and have been watching hundreds of videos to learn different techniques and patterns. Hands down, your tutorials are the absolute best. Thank you so much for posting these videos! Also, your daughter is beautiful, just like you!
After so many tries making this I did it ! It kept curling up and I started over and over but then I went and bought the same hook she is using an made my stitches a little lose and it worked ! Love this donut pillow !
for the ones who wanted the written pattern chain 35 and join the ends row 1 ( hdc in 2 stc then 1 inc ) row 2 ( same as row 1 ) row 3 ( same as row 1 ) row 4 ( hdc in 3 stc then 1 inc ) row 5 ( hdc in each stc ) row 6 ( hdc in 6 stc then 1 inc ) row 7 ( same as row 5 ) row 8 ( hdc in 10 stc then 1 inc ) row 9 ( same as row 5 ) row 10 ( same as row 8 ) row 11 ( same as row 8 ) row 12 ( same as row 5 ) row 13 ( same as row 5 ) row 14 ( same as row 5 ) add your sprinkles at this point note: this is for one side of the donut you have to repeat the same pattern for the other side after the sprinkles change colors and repeat the pattern from row 1 hopefully this helps abit
Ur crochet videos are so relaxing. Even tho i don't crochet if ever im having a hard time to fall asleep i just watch ur crocheting videos and im out like a light.
Hi, Raquel, i love each of your projects.....they are easy and usefull...your explanations are clear and the projects are fast to make....I. Have done almost all of them. Congratulations and thank you for sharing with me....
Omg how I love this video. Wow you have a beautiful daughter. She looks just like you.. Thank you for sharing everything you enjoy with us.. God bless you both.😚
I'm learning to crochet and I've been practicing for a while and I was looking through videos and I saw this it looks easy I love this idea !! And you guys are so beautiful have beautiful faces thanks for this tutorial I'm going to get started on it 😀
Yes! I saw the idea for this on Pinterest a couple weeks ago, tonight I bought the yarn to start it. Hopefully this will be the video that teaches me how to do it!
I LOVE the picture you used so funny and cute . Your daughter is a gem she's a mini version of you ;) . I love that pillow I need to get my crochet stuff out and get to work .That pillow is so cool! thumbs up Raquel.
Love this project. I m finishing it up now. Not sure what I did wrong but the bottom was a lot bigger than the top. I puckered it to fit and it looks pretty good.I probably messed up the top somewhere because I went by the video for the top when I did the bottom. It is also not as big as yours. I love the way you help us by repeating. Only way I can learn lol. (retired teacher).
Ur daughter is ur clone, so lovely!! already making a pillow like urs but started mine one year ago, with super chunky yarn and K hook, almost finish and it will take 15 balls of yarn (50 gr each ) will show u later ;) hugs!
I just listened at first, but then started watching, and realized you too do it right handed. I am left handed so right handed crochet looks like sorcery. I kinda got lost for a second! Still though, good pattern, and fairly easy to understand. :)
I was really excited when I came across this tutorial, the only thing that would be helpful is instead of at row 11 saying we should stop the pattern at the beginning of the last row even if we didn't finish it should be in the beginning of the video. I wasn't sure why I was getting a wavy donut until row 11. Also the stitch name might be more helpful after you show us. Other than that I can't wait to redo this pattern! Thank you so much for making this tutorial
I love this!! Thank you for this tutorial!! I'll make this for my little cousin. Plus your nails, its so beautiful!! I actually cant take my eyes off of them so i have to rewatch the tutorial. 🤍 PS. You explain it so clearly unlike other tutorials. Looking forward for more!!
I recently made my own, however I followed different directions so that my work wouldn't ruffle up and all. here are my directions for a smaller donut pillow(larger pillow pattern follows), in which things are generally easier for those who had trouble. if this only helped a little bit, feel free to use this and change it up as much as you'd like. If you are trying this pillow for the first time, I'd personally make the smaller pillow first, as I did, but that's just my opinion. I hope this helps you guys who are having a little trouble like i was when I first tried making this pillow. Enjoy! :) I chained 25 Row 1: Single crochet (as shown at 7:00 ) 2: Single crochet twice every 3 stitches(just like she showed you at 4:18 ) 3: Single crochet 4-5: Chrochet twice every 3 stitches 6: Crochet twice every 7 stitches 7-8: Single crochet 9: Crochet twice every 7 stitches 10: Single crochet My pattern for the larger pillow was similar to the above directions. However, I made a few tweaks so just compare the two. Chain 35-45 stitches (depends on how big you want it) 1: Sc (single crochet) 2: Sc 2x every 3 stitches 3: sc Repeat rows 2-3 until you reach row 9 9-10: sc 11: Sc 2x every 7 stitches 12: sc 13: decrease every 5 stitches ( if you don't know how to decrease refer to this video: ruclips.net/video/Fqeh12-yaMo/видео.html )* *if there's too much tension between stitches, I tend to wrap my yarn around the hook before going into a stitch 14: sc All of her other directions i found very useful, I just changed how many rows I did, and the patterns for each row. You don't have to do single crochet if you don't want, I'm just simple and lazy lol. P.s. I personally think this would be a very awesome gift idea. I used 1 twelve ounce bag of Polyfil and 2 jumbo yarns from walmart to make a few small pillows. For me it takes 2-4 hours to make, overall you should be able to make one pillow in a day/weekend day. Enjoy, and I hope this was helpful to some of you guys, if not all of you.
I just barley started to learn how to crochet but it's really hard! But I can still knit like a pro lol...! Btw's I love this video it's so cute!!! 😝😝😝🍩🍩🍩❤️

what a cute idea!u inspired me to think out of the box when crocheting, i always did blankets and was quite bored of that....i have a suggestion , i was wondering if you wear boot socks, can u show us how to crochet them?
I am on about Row 7. Was wondering, is it supposed to be ruffly? Mine looks like an oversized scrunchie. But other than that, its great. I was worried that I am doing it wrong. Thank you so much🙂

Love your tutorials! Wish you would do more please. I can follow your videos perfectly. Please do more!

I chained 25
Row 1: Single crochet (as shown at 7:00 )
2: Single crochet twice every 3 stitches(just like she showed you at 4:18 )
3: Single crochet
4-5: Chrochet twice every 3 stitches
6: Crochet twice every 7 stitches
7-8: Single crochet
9: Crochet twice every 7 stitches
10: Single crochet
My pattern for the larger pillow was similar to the above directions. However, I made a few tweaks so just compare the two.
Chain 35-45 stitches (depends on how big you want it)
1: Sc (single crochet)
2: Sc 2x every 3 stitches
3: sc
Repeat rows 2-3 until you reach row 9
9-10: sc
11: Sc 2x every 7 stitches
12: sc
13: decrease every 5 stitches ( if you don't know how to decrease refer to this video: ruclips.net/video/Fqeh12-yaMo/видео.html )*
*if there's too much tension between stitches, I tend to wrap my yarn around the hook before going into a stitch
14: sc

Alissa Sales does single crochet work better than half double crochet?
@@nancysavage9332 I don't know. I just prefer to do less work and single crochet is simple enough for me. You can choose to do a half dc if you'd like
I like the video tutorial.
I just barley started to learn how to crochet but it's really hard! But I can still knit like a pro lol...! Btw's I love this video it's so cute!!! 😝😝😝🍩🍩🍩❤️
