- Hello My Wonderful RUclips Family 💗 How are you guys doing? I hope you guys have been safe & thriving in your life. For today's video I'll be sharing my current nail care routine for long natural nails. The length of my nails in this video is the current length I have. I think I'll keep them this length for a while because if I go any longer it's when I start getting breaks, plus this is the length I enjoy making nail art on them. If I go any longer I jut like keeping them polished one solid nail polish color.

Alternatives to a “cuticle oil”:
Olive oil
Coconut oil
Vitamin E
Jojoba oil (by itself)
Sweet almond oil
Avocado oil
Castor oil
Sesame oil (apparently???)
Rosehip oil
Jojoba oil is the oil you should really be getting as it’s better than the rest of the oils but if you don’t have access to it,
I highly recommend:
Olive
Vitamin e
Avocado
Castor
I recommend apricot kernel oil personally. It’s been the best

My nails became tender and eventually all of my finger nails just dissolved and melted away!! Never again. Do you ever use gel polish that requires a LED/UV light? Or you always use regular polish?

Hi Raquel, it's so good to see you! I hope you and your family are well. I have a question and a request. Have you considered using a clear gel that you cure under a lamp to protect your nails, rather than all the layers of top coats? I find I've had better results with the gel. Your thoughts? Also, would you consider using a darker background, as I find it hard to see your nails with this background, when I'm watching on my phone. Lots of love xxx

Gorgeous is an understatement to call your nails but I can’t think of a more better and fancier word to use lol but they definitely are😊. Never seen these rubber nail inserts before so thank you for sharing these🤗❤️. I got some questions to ask! 1. Do you use any brand of polish or a specific one? 2. How long does your polish stay on your nails without peeling or chipping off? 3. Do you ever get gel nail polish on your nails so the polish stays on longer or does wearing gloves work just as good for you? 4. Since you mentioned you have small hands do you wear 1size bigger so that your nails don’t bend? 5. What type of gloves do you use?

Long time subscriber of your channel. I have a question. I follow your routine to grow your nails but lately my nails brake on a horizontal line, you know the one right before the free edge ohh and it hurts. How can I avoid that

I thought you weren’t supposed to wash your hands before applying nail polish, as it can make the nail polish stick less to your nails
I hadn't heard that. 🤔 In fact, I usually wash my hands prior to doing a mani.
@@BrittMFH yea water overall isn’t good for your nails. Notice how they are wider after a shower, the more this happens, the weaker your nails become. You can find more info on the internet, I don’t know all the technical stuff

Lol I don't cut mines when they break. I keep them uneven until that one grows to a desired length then i cut them to that length.

I can't believe you still use the whole cotton round! That's 10 rounds per removal. I use nail soakers and just cut my cotton balls that will fit my nail beds only.
I have become hooked on Korean dramas. I like the action and legal dramas. Don't care for the rom-coms. They've become too sappy and cliche for me.
I have pretty long nails myself and I cut the cotton rounds in 4 equal parts to use the nail polish soakies with, it saves a lot of cotton
