a have a question , how can i access the ASAv mgmt interface from outside ? like ask my computer using something like IDM to connect to the ASAv mgmt on GCP ? is it possible to do it ?

thanks for the video, can you please advise ? I am trying to add addtional nic on to my eve-ng vm in gcp and make that eve-ng devices talk to the other VMs in the gcp ? have you done something like this before ?

Thanks for the video. I can connect to the cloud directly from devices and access the internet without any issue. I have tried placing a router in front of a topology and performing NAT translation on the router to the range used for the cloud. This does not seem to work for me. Do you have any solution to accommodate this?

Thanks Tony, for sharing the video. Indeed you resolve one of the issues in eve-ng. One more favour i need from you. How do I make the configuration persistence in the VM. I tried the link you provided but i get 404 error.

Q: Could you clarify why won't it work when I try to directly connect to Cloud 0, and give the node an IP address from the internal IP range?

Not working at all for me, I am able to follow the exact steps and all verification commands match yours but when i come to verify with the VPC it says host not reachable.
while i can connect out, my download speeds are just aweful. Thoughts?
for future viewers, you need to choose CLOUD1

Really appreciate your work !! I am able to install eve-ng in google cloud.. but it seems i can use only VPC ( desktop ) in the lab .Please create a video where we can activate ASA or Palo Alto and use in our lab.
I'm glad to hear you have EVE-NG running. That's great. It's true EVE-NG only comes with VPC by default and you must add the images you intend to lab with.
You can use the written guides from EVE-NG documentation to add various images.

After a reboot, I can no longer ping my gateway from within EVE-NG. Any suggestions? I suck with Linux so that's my main problem :)
I have followed all the steps as explained in the video but can't still have internet, i connet mt cloud to a cisco router but cant ping the gateway.

The net element, in which interface works? , bridge, cloud1..2.., What is the difference between bridge and cloud interfaces?
Bridge is linked to pnet0, cloud interfaces are liked to the other pnet interfaces. Cloud interfaces are used to make links internal to the lab. They explain them well in the cookbook.
Hi Is there anyway to setup a cloud with dhcp option. I want to use cloud with dhcp (It will distribute the IPs to connected devices automatically). Thanks
You need to install and configure dhcp server. In the conf file, put subnet and mask configured on cloud1 interface.

Why not just use a router going to cloud0 with a nat config? This allows internal device packets exiting getting natted and still leaving the wire via cloud0. But i suppose this is just as doable.

One think it is possible to configure Mikrotik RouterOS inside my EVE-NG which is hosted on my Google Cloud Platform, using Winbox in my local PC.
The standard configuration for the locally installed EVE-NG allows me to connect my PC network to the virtualized network, but since my EVE-NG is now on the cloud, is it possible to connect the RouterOS to my PC Winbox for easier configuration?
