The Secret Saturdays was yet another one of my all time favorite late 2000's CN cartoons! it had an interesting plot Cryptozoologists protecting the world's cryptid population, and i must say Drew was one of my favorite characters Nicole Sullivans performance of the character was just phenomenal her voice fit it so perfectly!!!
It was late 2000’s but yeah it was an awesome show

This show reminded me of Johnny Quest with Cryptids. Loved it!
Oh yeah and Zak Saturday was originally going to make a cameo in Crossover Nexus, because of course everything goes back that special, but he and a character from Class of 3000 were cut for time. To make up for that absence Zak appeared in the series finale to OK KO, along with Sunny Bridges and Randle from Party Wagon; I'm surprise they remember that fail pilot.
Oh yeah Secret Saturdays, very underrated series that I'm glad they did bring it back for one episode in Ben 10 Omniverse after the series ended. Not mention I'm pretty sure some of us can agree ... Drew Saturday another member in hottest animated moms category.
The cryprids are real commercials were the thing that got me into the show. My grandma was a big foot fan and got excited when I was telling her about cryprids. I really loved this show

Of the long history of underrated CN shows that deserved better...this is one of them
Seriously, why CN have so many shows that should have caught on or at the very least be more remembered than they do?
It's shows like this that make me feel really guilty for missing out on that action cartoon renaissance of the mid-to-late 2000s.
Back in the era if rad action cartoons that were cut short.
This is a show that passed me by. I had fallen out with most cartoon network shows except for toonami ans adult swim. I was also working so time was extremely limited and the promos didnt grab me to watch it initially. When I did see it, it had solid story telling.
Did you know Jay Stephens has confirmed that Zack ends up ruling the world as Kur? So he's confirmed to become evil because Kur is within him and is king of the cryptids
I think it would be great if this show got a remastered blu ray release, or at least a better release on streaming. I feel the show deserves it
21:11 You obviously know about the Ben 10 Omniverse crossover, so that got me thinking. How much does Beeman interact with aliens? Like he was tricked by Zak's little Christmas lights thing, so I doubt he's seen that many, or he's seen so many that it could be any number of them, or the excitement made him jump to irrational conclusions. How many species does Beeman know about? Does he know about the cultural history of other alien species and their countries' histories? And imagine how much grief he'd give Ben with his attitude.
Why did it take me so long to realize that Argost's show was inspired by Tales From The Crypt?
As someone who loves weird creatures and history stuff I feel kinda guilty that I slept on this one. I definitely watched a few episodes, but i never truly followed it...😮💨😩
Shame to see The Secret Saturdays (along with Generator Rex) wasn't apparent with Cartoon Network's 30th anniversary.
I've always loved Phil Morris's performance as Doc. It's one of the things that stuck with me about this show. 😊

Awesome video, I was a huge fan of this show as well as Tutenstein. I even remembered Jay Stephens had a series of How to Draw books when I was a kid

this show seems great
It's really not often where we see an action adventure show led by a family with a really good dynamic. Heck, we can barely get an established couple in most main character groups. Would have loved to see the show continue into Zak's teenage years.

But looking back on the plot, it was some good stuff for the time. Wishing you luck with your series. You're definitely do cutaway gags better than family guy.

This show will always be close to my heart
I watched season 1 as it airing, but had no idea it had a season 2 till a few years later when it was having reruns in Boomerang. For awhile just thought it ended in a plot twist cliffhanger or got canceled since Cartoon Network put more focus on other shows at the time. This show is not talked about enough and I hope more people give it a chance
this is show is like ben 10 mixed with harry potter mixed with the adventures of jackie chan mixed with scooby doo mixed with gravity falls mixed with victor and valentino mixed with the wild thornberrys mixed with the octonauts mixed american dragon jake long mixed with the life and times of juniper lee mixed with gargoyles mixed with batman beyond mixed with kim possible and mixed with wild kratts combined!
The one show I absolutely adored and yet got immensely screwed over by UK Cartoon Networks scheduling since the episode reruns was at 6 in the morning, and they never aired the last 8 episodes at all.
I didn't know at the time that there was more than the Kur Part 1 and 2 until some kind soul on Dailymotion uploaded every episode.
Drew could have it all.

There was a fun moment, at Doyle's reveal episode you can see, Dr Animo, Hex and the Forever Knights, never know that till a rewatch

This show was amazing but yet was treated so dirty by CN. I'm glad it did get to finish most of its story plots though.

I refused to watch this show when it was on the air. I thought it had a stupid title and reason for having that title. If it's had a less stupid name, I probably would've given it a chance. Also, its premise felt... done? Kid with super special awesome scientist action hero parents getting mixed up with sci-fi/fantasy nonsense? It felt like it was trying too hard or something? I didn't like The Deep on Netflix nor the comic it was based on for the same reason. Also I hated G1 Max Steel for similar reason. Disliked G2 Max Steel for different reason though.

I disagree that it was tough being a CN kid in 2008. I loved Chowder and CN real. Especially Hole in the Wall and Dude What Would Happen. They probably shouldn't have been on CN though.
