I'm 17 but I got held back so I have to start college this September and it's all I wanna do, I hope to God I make friends because I have had none in high school
that’s okay!! honestly, it’s not difficult to make friends! at college, you finally meet “your people”. everything just falls into place and it all works out ☺️wishing you the best of luck!!
Yooo I’m 17 and also was held back in my education… I’m starting college this year and even though I’m not exactly nervous, I just hope that it’s an easy ride and I can have a nice friend group. High school years for me were trash fr lol
oh my goodness i can't believe i missed your comment, i'm so sorry!!! i'm so glad you found it useful! since completing my first year of college, i have posted so many videos giving tips, advice and just sharing my experience x
Mads Hope it’s ok, I had honestly forgotten that I’d even commented on this video. I think I’ve watched all your college videos and I’m finding them super helpful, especially because I’ve just started year 13 so we’re kind of in the same boat. X
I can't stop mumbling in secondary school, I feel like if I can't not mumble i won't be able to make friends, it's really annoying, I'm a fast learner and I wanna go college but idk 😭😭😭
Meg Left the chat Did you go to a new school for sixth form or did your secondary school have a sixth form? Personally I’ve really enjoyed sixth form but I know that’s it’s all up to personal preference
I'm going to a college like the week after next week and it's in London and I don't know anybody there which is making me freak out. However, this helped. My biggest fear is not getting along with anyone. 😭
I’m supposed to be starting sixth form at school with my friends in September but a have a massive feeling where I just don’t want to go, thinking about being stuck with all the same people makes me feel sick. I haven’t applied for a college but it might not be too late I really want a fresh start when I won’t know anyone and more independence, I don’t know if I should stay or move. I’m scared to ask my parents. What should I do?
I think that you should definitely talk to your parents about how you’re feeling! It’s never too late look at other options!! Don’t be scared to ask them; if you explain how you’re feeling I’m sure they’ll understand 😊
Mads Hope thank you! Yes I’m mainly worried as I won’t know anyone and I’m scared I’ll make no new friends and I’ll barely see my other friends. I just really don’t think I’m suited for sixth form and I want to trust my own instinct but staying at my school is the easier option.
I can't wait to go to collage but I'm scared I won't make friends and I also have disabilities fan I get help with my disabilities and is me not listing is that going to be a problem
Im doing a btech in electrical engineering level 3 (extended diploma) next year hopefully and i wanted to see how it is in college ik u go likr 3-4 days a week and mine is full time so ye.

Do you think for me is better a sixth form or a college (because I noticed sth with ur video, I maybe are going to be more slow than the others to understand things) and if you recommend me ur college can u please told me the name?, And btw what is a form tutor? I know I have a lot of questions but if u can help me I would be really grateful❤️
