Great movie, many of the surf icons in their youth from the 60's and 70's. Cabell nose riding, Hemmings and Nat Young at Makaha, Van Artsdalen switch foot at Sunset (I think), Jock Sutherland, Jeff Hackman and Hamilton at Rocky Point or Pupukea, maybe some footage of Clyde Aikau at Waimea, and many more !
Why cant l watch modern surfing (fantatic as it is) Its not about wave, its about the surfer. The wave is upstage and is only a prop. The great surfers allow the wave to "BREATH"... Some great moments here !
These guys have such a fluid smooth style!
Excellent soundtrack !
Old skool is the best...
Man the beat on this video is underrated!!!!
top notch epic old school footage with new techno tunes - mixes well. thanks man!
this duo is nearly as satisfying as the dark side of the moon over the wizard of oz. can't stop watching....
SUPER GREAT MUSIC (!!!/
balance and grace!
That was fun. A cavalcade of stars. It would be easier to say who wasn't shown. Phil Edwards, Micky Munoz, Herbie Fletcher, Ricky Grigg, Rich Chew.

wax on wax off
Started surfing '63 with a 9'6" Barry Bennet, I paid twelve pounds for it and it could be just a coincidence but I'm sure @1.23 that's it! bought it from Geofs surf shop in Gawler place in Adelaide Sth. Australia, a great shop, always smelled of surf wax and the sea, worked at selling afternoon newspapers at a pub to save the money to buy it, clearly it was made in Brookvale Sydney, how it got down to Sth. Oz is the next story, as in '63,...really, common theft was very little, so being very slack, left it out on the front lawn for weeks where I lived but eventually some shit stain walked off with it, I was surfing a 5'11" Fat Albert single fin bought from John Arnold's surf shop Gawler place at the time but it still was my board, the shit stain didn't work at a pub selling afternoon news papers for three months to save the money to buy it.
I filmed a wake surfing stunt on my GoPro- Check it out to see if I "crashed" my boat! First video ever- I'd appreciate some support for future insane stunts!
N
Dumb synthesizer soundtrack ruins a classic surf film.
Horrible techno soundtrack for a 60s surf movie
Classic!
