Boon : circle of healing = u should heal others not urself, it takes 7 seconds lol --- Edit: ohhh btw 🥞
I think your Smash Hit analysis is a little off. It gives more distance than Lithe, BECAUSE the Killer is stunned and depending on when the stun actually occurs you may or may not use up the extra 1 second speed boost buffer the perk has built in.
Additionally if the Killer breaks the pallet after you activate the perk, you have made like 45 meters of distance just off of that. Most of the time the Killer will f off and drop you.
Dead hard because most ppl use it to bait a hit, but you should use it for distance to a window/pallet. Do it earlier though bc if you do it late, its basically baiting a hit
That Soul Guard/Unbreakable combo used to matter they patched it a while ago where perk order no longer matters. It always uses soulguard first, then it uses unbreakable. I tested it myself as of recent patch. Perk order is irrelevant.
Oh!! Good to know!!
I do remember asking the devs quite a long time ago, and they did state it didnt matter(when talking about M&A and Distressing, it used to matter back in the day but they later changed the formula so it didnt). They were technically right due to how the math works, but obviously they did have slot priority, since certain effects were triggered first. Still that didnt really matter too much untill Soul Guard was released(Unbreakable and No Mither dont really matter which one is used first, for example, and where perks like Third Seal and Sloppy also didnt matter which got applied first, since both would apply either way).
Where's your emoji amigo? 🔫🥨
how about the add-on order does it matter?
Thank you so much for that my friend!!! That is indeed good to know :)
Ah, yes. 99% on a whole generator against an Oni. There could be a whole debate about that play.
yeahhhhh he wasn’t exactly the best example but it was the only one i could find
@@KytoYT I mean you never know. Maybe the oni didn’t have his fury ready
@@venicetaylor1448 You actually want the oni to be in his fury if you gonna stay injured on a gen, if he doesnt have his fury active, you'd be dropping blood and basically giving the killer a lot of free orbs.
Even funnier is that he healed himself full when the oni arrived with his power active which wont let him use his deadhard anymore
@@Predated2 Or I guess ideally, he'd have it charged already but he's just holding it. So any orbs you drop will almost definitely be gone by the time his power runs out. But I think it deactivated when he picks someone up, so if he downs you immediately after you finish the gen then you played yourself. 🥨
Fixated has actually saved my life a few times with the walk speed buff. I'll be behind a rock and the killer would circle it. The only reason i don't get spotted is from my speed staying just ahead of the killer and leaving no scratch marks.
You can circle the rock and confusing the killer even without Fixated.
@@lorenzosantoni1576 of course! I'm just saying that it helped me a couple of times in doing that
I prefer Nea’s perk that gives you like 100% normal speed while crouched
I use fixated for reasons that wasn't stated in the video... fast vaults....
@@chriz1997 automatic fast vaults all day baby lmao
I think Resilience should always be used with Selfcare so that survivors who aren’t in chase to 99 their health in order to do gens and healing faster
And if the killer might be coming, they can just press the action for 1 second
Can confirm this works
LSO THIS ISNT HAPPENING should affect great skill checks triggered from perks like dragons grip
Thank you for pointing out the one that Victor doesn't send information back to Charlotte on a survivor who is crouched. Don't forget that you can crouch-walk to get past the trails left by The Executioner without triggering them!
Shrimp Cocktail! :D
you're lying bro i could've won my match yesterday if i crouched over the executioners traps
cocktails fucking rule
Honestly what’s the point of running self care when circle of healing exists. 😭
I always ran self care when the game was older so its a bad habit now💀
If you are solo I guess... But I play solo and run inner strength instead to counter NOED as well
@@charlene9489 while you’re at it run detective’s hunch. So you can see totems at all times(obviously if you do gens 💀)
this is very true 😭✋🏻
@@KytoYT omg hi
Great video. Urban evasion does counter pyramid head's trails as well, which can be useful since torment counters ds and allows a free mori
true!! forgot to mention that
And huntress's hatchets against short-wall loops, nemesis tentacle
Crouching in general counters trails in general tho..
@@tigerprincess1109 Yeah but urban allows its use in a chase so you can still somewhat use the loop.
As a new survivor, this was nice to know for the long run. 🥞
And u still go down for 30 seconds
glad i could help!!
fixated and urban aren't bad perks btw. just use them right
Really? Isn't it just common sense?
Tasty pancakes btw
I use self care + med kit, urban evasion, spine chill, and either iron will or calm spirit. I have a lone-survivor, stealth build.
However, when I'm feeling more altruistic or in a mood to play in a more co-op method, I'll use different builds. For example, I have a tracking build. Yes, general tracking. I can track the killer, gens, and my teammates with it.
Okay, counterpoint to the lithe giving the same value.
When smash hit goes off the killer is stunned and unable to make up the distance for most of your sprint. You get pure distance on the killer where as lithe you can not. Lithe also suffers from issues of stopping vaults at certain types of loops that are very powerful such as shack and most jungle gyms. Smash hit when your looping around a pale with a window. You can use that window the whole time and when your pulling the pallet the killer usually is close enough for the stun and you get the speed boost. Plus it's a whole second longer than lithe.
Or the killer can just respect all pallets and hit u pass them with something range like deathslinger and huntress or like 4 others fake pallets like doc or freddy and u are fked or enduring and spirit fury and u dont even get half the distance of lithe cus then the killer has to vault/walk/around
@@АндонВасилев-к8ю then if they keep respecting pallets you keep running, and they don’t catch you. Make them fully aware that you aren’t dropping that pallet. Then, when they think they can switch up, BAM! Pallet stun.
@@HardTahc lithe is far easier to trigger tbh
My problem with sprint is that usually I let my exaustion 99% then do a gen,and when the killer comes yes I gain distance, but rarely I get it to work mid chase,I might try it again tho, seems like a fun perk to master with many beneffits.
Sprint Burst is extremely fun to try to learn. It takes some time to master it, but it’s so satisfying to pull it off in chase :)
Use windows of opportunity with it, makes it so you can instantly know where the loops you need to rotate to as you get distance
Couple tips to help you since I used to use it every match. You want to always be exhausted with it. What I mean by this is if you are not in chase, don't bother trying to 99% it. Just always proc it to ge to an objective, or if you are doing a gen just waste it so you're exhausted again. While this seems counterproductive to getting it to work, 90% of the time you'll end up only partially exhausted once a chase starts so you can walk mid-chase to get it 99%. Outside of chase, you're just wasting time trying to 99% it in the chance that the killer comes for you or wasting time chasing the killer down. You can also time objectives, so you exhaust yourself 44 seconds before you finish a gen or time it on totems/unhooks. Hopefully that helps.
@@TheDreadedJuggernaut, @SoNOPEgrapher Thanks for the tips!
It’s a harder perk to use than most of the perks in the game, but once you’ve learned it, it’s possibly the best in the game.
Also; for the love of god if you’re going to compulsively use selfcare, at LEAST run it with botany knowledge, because at least then you give a heal speed boost that can can help your team as well
Good tip! Thank you!
I love to use adrenaline offensively, and love to pair with soul guard. This makes camping so hard and may come in clutch. Btw good advice on all good perks, nice work man 🍰
yeah especially when the killer has noed and your other teammates are kinda good at looping the killer will go after them and you just soul guard tf up
Thanks for the tips I’ll be sure to use them😊 I didn’t realize I was using 50% of these perks wrong😅🍟
Quick suggestion, using smash hit and decisive strike would be an amazing combo. DS stuns the killer, and with smash hit your gone by the time the killer gets rid of the stun
“If you’re really close to finishing a gen the just go for it” shows a guy with 2/3 of the gen left
you know what i meant
Damn even as an experienced survivor, I never knew about the soul guard and unbreakable one.
Keep up the great work Kyto! Loving your content!
thanks man!!
It seems the order is irrelevant nowadays, not sure how long ago they patched it to work normally though.
Ik and I used to run that build every once in a while and was mad that it didn’t really work lol
sprint burst also increases walking speed if you walk after activating it, which can act like a scratch mark remover for a few seconds allowing for a sneaky escape here and there
No, it doesn't.
@@imtheonehero9305 it does? the speed boost affects every type of movement like running, walking, crouching, and even crawling if you get downed right after
Kinda new to dbd and from what I understand is the devs gave the survivors way more advantages then the killers and I should play survivor and tease and teabag killers because we can get the speed of the flash for 3 seconds and take a hit 3 times with something call harrowing timing?, heal yourself, pick yourself up multiple times has the ultimate stealth.. somehow more then micheal Myers which Is crazy if you watched the movies. Lol whats the point of killers they don’t stand a chance. Im going to be a survivor😂
Also, Spinechill can be used to counter many killers like Spirit, you can use it to tell if she's phasing, stealth killler, it lets you know that you're being stalked/ambushed, there are just so many uses for it that it more than justifies taking up a perk slot
I agree...
some Wraith players dont even ring their bells when they appear and it always surprises my teammates
@@hergiepagz coxcombed clapper add on
i absolutely HATE playing against stealth killers, so i just always keep spine chill on, it also helps alot with dredge, if i see locks on lockers, i know who it is. Then if spine chill suddenly lights up and i hear him moving to a locker, i know hes coming for me so i take the fuck off xD
@@Gurtington i like stealth killers, but i use spine chill to not be grabbed of the generator
Not anymore. It got nerfed. Spinechill of all things.
Aside from that soul guard and UB I know all the tips but still enjoyed it 🍤
I hate when I have a teammate with urban evasion cause every time I see them, they’re crouch walking from gen to gen... while the killer is chasing someone already on the other side of the map. I automatically assume anyone who runs this perk like this is a new player.
Sprint burst
You can just walk when the killer come to you (can use to buy time for your friends to run) and when killer is gonna hit you just use sprint burst
I guess I haven’t been using any of these perks wrong, however I’ve played this game for a few years, and some of these could have been incredibly helpful for me starting out! 🍚
hope it helps!! :)
🍚
Awesome video as always, I really hope this helps the one survivor using 4 of the perks on this list wrong at the same time :D I was wondering why the last bit of gameplay felt familiar but then I realised it was from Naymeti, both of you guys are great, keep up the good content!
thank you so much!!
Watching this gameplay, I’m really nostalgic towards the old animations, I miss them so much
me too
Wait, do you mean the basic movement animations? Or more specific ones.
@@soloh8r basic movement
Honestly Sprint burst and Fixated. If it is clearly safe to, sprint to a gen but slightly before you get to it or getting off, walk. You are easier to get mid sprint and right after but it's why you walk the 10% of the way so it is harder to find perfectly where you are.
I consider spine chill to be one of the strongest perks. It lets me focus entirely on the objective and not where the killer is. I only move when the perk is lit up for awhile and sometimes I still don’t move for awhile in order to get that boost
Ikr! Spinechill alleviates SO much pressure, and has also allowed me to destroy stealth killers. Ghostface people have fucked themselves over many times trying to stalk me. I always have to be 2-hit because Spinechill is just that amazing. Plus, I just love using the boost and then using Self Aware to let them think I ran away, only to walk back to the gen
„99 the heal, so when the killer comes, it is like you were healed the entire time“ *shows footage of the only killer this doesn’t apply to, the oni*
not the best example footage sorry 💀
@@KytoYT its fine, i actually don’t care i just wanna troll you
Sprint Burst enjoyer here. the first week, you're probably walking too much but you get used to it real quick and it's AMAZING.🍕
agreed!!!
I used to think that Smash Hit was strictly worse Lithe too, but that's because I was never a Lithe user. The thing about Lithe is it limits your fast vaults in chase, because Lither procs the first time you fast vault. Smash Hit actually allows you to continue vaulting shack window, for example, without having to worry about 99ing your Lithe. I still would rather use Lithe over Smash Hit, but I know some pretty good survivor mains who use Smash Hit as a less limiting Lithe.
I never knew crouching worked against Victor. Very interesting. I love 99 my heal so I can use resilience. Still working on sprint burst though. 🥔
The soul guard and unbreakable was new to me🥙
That's because it doesn't exist, Soul Guard will always be used first.
@@potatoweaver4116 Nowadays yes, that patch was less than a month ago. 🥝
@@soloh8r no, Soul Guard and Unbreakable haven't worked like that for over a year, not since the PTB.
Extra info for self care, if your gonna use it, use botany knowledge with it, it makes self care speed basically the same as default teammate healing and it makes teammate healing faster.
you can also use fixated in another way. for example, when the killer is chasing you but you have some distance and they cant see you, you can run to the left, go back and walk to the right, making the killer think you actually went to the left due to the scratch marks, but you went the other way. when they realize that you're already long gone
that is a pretty sick move
I've tried to do this but the killeris always too close to me, a few times I did it ahead of time and it worked. Especially if you run up to a and around a locker they might search it for nothing.
"I can guarantee that youve been using at least one of these perks wrong"
Oh, i can guarantee that ive been using all of them wrong
My skill combination is sprint burst with decisive strike and deliverance, i hope you like it bro☺️
Awesome Vid! I've been playing since the game launched and still learned some cool tips from you! Keep up the awesome work fam🤜🤛

Estaria genial si tradujeran tus videos a español, ya que dices muchas cosas interesantes que muchos RUclipsrs hispanohablantes que suben DBD pasan por alto, yo con el inglés básico que me enseñaron puedo entenderte bien, buen video
I am so glad you made this video I can send it to my few friends that urban invasion around the entire map or use selfcare every time they get hit
Brought iron will to a match once and I was able to literally run around the killer, like right behind him, and he had no idea I was there. Looked in the lockers and everything and I just kinda hid beside the wall
Do not run into the killer when you blind then, 70% of the time they just whiff trust me
Thank you for the unbreakable and soul guard combo, I really didn't know that 🧐🍙
it's patched
@@Kumonosuu it doesn't work anymore?
I love resilience! I always one type my health and do my objectives. And pairing it with iron will and yes spin chill with these is a good combo!
the vault speed build is so fun to use :D
Oof! I’ve been playing for years and didn’t realize I’m making so many mistakes 😅 Thanks for sharing! I hope to improve my gameplay 🍓
🍕 This is such a good lesson of dbd to newcomers and to 3th rankers like me
🍣 so how do I use dead hard I'm pretty new to the game but I have dead hard and can't use it that consistently could you help?
It was nerfed. You have to first unhook someone or yourself (you can use for example deliverance) and then you can use dh
One time I had a Nea in my team that was crouching with urban invasion at the edge of the map for the whole game. She never did gens or unhooked anyone and we all died so she could escape through the hatch using a key.
True survivor main
such a selfish survivor
Bro took survivor to a whole new level 0:32
I do agree with most but some of these arent being used "incorrectly" but rather in a less optimal way
Use boon of healing instead if using self care❤❤❤
I made it through the hole video here's your food emoji's! 🍟🌭🍕🍔
Though Smash-Hit can be pretty useless, I still use it so that I can vault windows and/or pre-thrown pallets so that I can still have my exhaustion to ‘dumb tech’
The best build combo ever: No Mither + Self-Care
Too bad spine chill got fkn nerfed, saddest nerf of all time
Actually with Sprint Burst I remember you being able to time it just right so that your exhaustion is gone but you're sprinting while still having sprint burst active. you have to be really precise for this though
Sprint boost + Fixated it’s a good combo i think :0
Urban Evasion is a good way to get exhaustion back, because at tier 3 you move faster when crouching than walking.
All my favorite foods: 🍉🍩🥮🍙🍣🍚🍝
I use Self Care and Botany Knowledge, mainly because I solo queue and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been injured for over half the Trial because my teammates won’t heal me or I can’t find them because their hiding the entire time, it is Half my Build, but its so useful for my Playstyle
Urban evasion also helps against Pyramid Head, since you can actually maybe get through rites of torment lines in reasonable time.
I miss old dbd
Another tip for the Sprint burst 99'd. Just because you have a 99'd Sprint burst doesn't mean you have to keep running around until you find the killer, more time waste ;D
Something to add to fixated is it delays the start of a chase when getting chased off of an objective. Combine Fixated (Self-aware), Lightweight, Sprint Burst, Windows. When you are certain the killer is coming right at your gen, you can make some distance and for the 3 seconds the scratch marks are very visible you have made more distance to your preferred loop.
🍕🥗🍲🍤🥠🥪🥘🍛🍙🍢🥙🥫🍣🍚🍡🌮🍝🍱🍘🍧🌯🍜🥟🍥🍨
1:56 is this still a feature in 2024 or was it changed?
+1
Also smash hit leaves you in animation even after you throw the pallet, then you gotta turn around and ran away. It’s so annoying
Wait I’m confused the order in which u put the perks in affects them or does it just affect soul guard and unbreak?
Someone pls help
Please update this in the current meta
Is offensive Adrenaline not commonplace in the community? I've never played DBD before but I have played a fair share of IDV, and 99%ing a cipher and getting a basic/M1 hit before popping it is usually how endgame goes. It's actually really interesting how different the strategies between the two games are, actually. I've seen a fair amount of DBD players express distaste for NOED, but hunters in IDV almost always carry Detention (at least, the last time I played it)
As a killer main who plays survivor to learn, this is some very helpful advice…
:)
I died on first hook once because my teammate was on the other side of the map and they urban evasioned the entire way over to me
This fully describes why I hate the survivor led meta, just too many tools and synergies not even taking into consideration the blatantly busted boon perks. The killer has 4 perks that basically have to be best in class hence the stale killer perk spreads or they are so behind vs the 16-nearly 20 after boon buffs are concerned made even worse if a killer took any hex perks as 1 bad spawn and they are down to 3,2,1 maybe even no perks in a flash vs again the 16-20 of the survivors. I really feel survivors need to drop a perk slot to 3 each. Still 12-15 vs the killer's 4.
5:59 OH MY GOD THANK YOU!!! 🍣
legit im an Urban Evasion main, and how you said to use the perk? I USE IT! (im happy to be right!) but i still see people using it to travel around the map, oh so slowly T_T
Proud to say I knew every single one of these. But then I have wasted over 3,000 hours on this game soo -.-
I hate Self-Care because Is wear everyone that brings it just wants to use it.... Like I can heal you, but nope you'd rather just stand there and self-care perk.. Even the damn Boon: CIrcle of Healing I can't telly ou how many times I've stood there for a few seconds the jsut walked away thinking "Moron" because someone would rather self-care than actually let me heal them and heal them faster due to the boon.
I gotta disagree with the self care stuff. I think ur first point is spot on, just don't use it. It's faster to do a gen with 1 other person than it is to self care these days, you're wayyy better off running Empathy or Bond or something. Empathy is my go-to as it shows me who needs healed so we can meet up and heal each other. Bond is good too but it's range is weaker and in soloq I find healthy survivors are way less likely to heal you than injured ones. Pair it with Botany and you become a team medic. My favourite build is Windows, Empathy, Botany and Resiliance, it makes me a team medic while also allowing me to run a killer. Only downside is I don't get much done with gens lmao.
🍣🥔🍗🍔It would be good if Bhvr add simple advises for perks or forced training and advises that survs need to know cuz this typical Nea, Claudette, etc with self aware, fast crouching while u hooked u see 2-3 person hide, crouch or walk to u and cuz of that u go on 2 state immediately bruh
Too bad the morons and noobs dont watch videos like this, I get a lot of Randoms with Spine Chill or Urban Evasion or Both hiding 90% of the match... Even tho this video is outdated since most of the Perks on this video has changed, but the 2 Perks I just named are still basically the same and so many people still use them badly. 🍉
Iron will faking does not work if the killer has good enough headset (or any device that is capable of outputting sound) as you can hear the footsteps.
Whenever I play the killer, I always can't help but thinking why these seemingly good players just come to me and take a hit like idiots.
Maybe it works better with cheap sound system, though.
you forgot one of the most imporatant uses of urban evasion which is to dodge huntress hatches and gunslinger harpoons. when they start aiming you can quickly crouch walk around the corners of a loop. the killer can walk towards you while aiming and still not gain distance on you when you're crouching. again it's only really useful when they're aiming. but it is one of the most important parts about the perk. alternatively you can use it to stealth around corners to avoid detection, which it does worse than fixated, however it works on low height objects like small boulders or barrels, which fixated can't help you circle without being seen.
I'm a self care user simply because there's times I need to heal but can't because my teammates won't heal me but that's only when I solo q, when I swf I dont rely on it. Self care is so much better when you use botany knowledge though.
Also with that offensive Adrenaline play you were talking about, me and my friends actually did that several times. Saved our lives and allowed us to escape.
Omg I see SWFs urban evade TOGETHER to their objectives like little herds of sheep when I’m solo-queuing as survivor. Meanwhile I’ve already been on a generator for a good while now. 🫒
No mither + resilience + spine chill
🍕!!!
Me to my wife using Urban Evasion: "Babe why are you using that right now? Just run with me! We're wasting time!"
Her response: "cause being sneaky is fun stfu you dick" lmao
Question:
When you Say that "Soul Guard" has to come before "Unbreakable" what exactly do you mean?
as in when you select perks, Soul guard has to be in a Slot Ahead of Unbreakable?
Wowww the last perk sprint burst tip was very handy this video was so thx for this 🍦
🍕🌮🌯
A really useful video. I played for more than 200 hours in this game, and despite that, I discovered many things I didn’t know from this video. Thank you! :)
I watched a Jane self care 5 times through Sloppy Butcher the other day. Against a Legion -_- legit almost 5 minutes of times wasted that they could have been doing gens instead of just getting re-injured and running to the corner of the map over and over.
4:00 well no, it's not the same. Yes u can get cucked. But smash hit let's you loop windows without triggering, so if u have a good 1 min loop and are forced to use a pallet, then u get the boost, prolonging the chase. With lithe, u vault just 1 window and your exhaustion life line is death instantly
I'm very late to this video lol but it's funny that people still make a lot of these mistakes. I never got the negation with Unbreakable+Soul Guard because I always alphabetize my perks 🧀
Was playing Dwight against a deathslinger literally had this Kate that did nothing but use urban and fixated around the map, never get caught until after rescuing my teammates and getting rescued, i say fuck it and go to deathslinger and wave for him to follow me, while i look for the Kate.
Ended up having a fun time with that killer and got the hatch.
I didn't know about we need an specific order to use some perks... But you mean in the correct order both perks you're showing, are you able to use unbreakable more than one time? I mean, could you heal yourself from agonizing more than one time?
the sprint burst technique you explained is straight up just dead hard but only with the dash.
i just slightly feel like dead hard would help me more just because i can use it exactly when i mess up. with spring burst if i was around a weak loop/pallet and i vault while its 99% i cant slow down for a sec the killer would be already on the other side but thats just my opinion
Dude UE is amazing.
I run it in a lot of my builds.
I get your point though, why would you use it when you don't have to, like being super far from the killer?
For me, I don't like sprint burst unless used to stay in a chase with the killer. I don't see the point in running a killer for an average amount of time just to lose them quickly. And I don't think running around the map holding a 99% sprint burst can always be managed. You'll find yourself not wanting to commit to gens throughout the game.
Soul Guard + Unbreakable : False, (or, more accurately, outdated) perk precedence is not reliant on order of selection. Unfortunate, that section, but otherwise great tips
Me when the perks showed up at the start: I couldnt possibly be using Smash hit wrong, because I never use it
Kyto: Smash hit, Use lithe instead
Me: O-O
I used to evade urbanly back in my full-on Blendette gaming, but then I started actually playing :-p
I'm with Kyto; Do Not Use
