Biggest mistake on the CT I waiting for the perfect wave. Generally every set the waves come in at the same angle while there is a best wave in each set they're usually pretty close so you should catch 1 wave every set and establish a base score then play the priority game in the last 5 minutes

Specifically the learnings around surfing different kinds of waves, bottom turns (intermediate surf progression stuff)
