  • 8 Uncommon Things Only Sigma Males Like. "Have you ever wondered why some men prefer solitude over socializing? Why they seem to operate on a different wavelength altogether?"
In the complex world of social dynamics, we often hear about Alpha and Beta males, each with their distinct characteristics and behaviors. But there's another category that's less talked about but equally intriguing - the Sigma males.
These are the lone wolves, the introverted mavericks who don't conform to societal norms. They walk to the beat of their own drum, often misunderstood due to their unique preferences and behaviors.
Sigma males are enigmatic, operating on a different plane from the rest of us. They don't seek the limelight like Alphas, nor do they seek validation like Betas. They are comfortable in their own skin, and that's what sets them apart.
In this exploration, we are going to delve into the eight uncommon things that only Sigma males like.

I love that there is finally a name for this type of person.
When the whole Alpha-Beta thing came about, I kept thinking of my spouse not fitting either category. He's probably the strongest guy I know, but he doesn't need to prove it. He avoids confrontation or mediates it, but he will mess someone up if he has to. He's incredibly intelligent, but also social and charming. He's into philosophy and music and even though he gets along with everyone, he is very particular about his friends.
Pretty sure I'm an alpha female, but I'm definitely becoming more sigma as I get older and work on myself.
I think the sigma mentality is what everyone should strive for honestly.

I have the same, first 3 priorities. I love music, but I'm not very good at making it. I would love to uplift humanity, but this world, the world that I live in, has become overcome with greed and power. I doubt if humanity can uplift itself anymore until the return of Christ. I used to be a very social person, and I do still like socializing at times, but I have found myself alone in this world. My life has changed and most of my family has passed on. I have learned to accept this and have come to love my solitude. I talk to myself a lot, but not to an invisible friend, I just talk to the air, or perhaps God, Jesus, or perhaps a guardian angel who might be able to tolerate my boring words. I don't talk to myself when others are present.

Those around me often seem to just do, produce while I am often still on th starting blocks, questioning the task...so that I understand it better so I dont just produce the required result or outcome, but I need/have to understand, plan, journey, finally getting to the result, having fully understood and learnt all the lessons along the way. It doesn't stop there either so much can be learnt from analysis post task. Yup I am a sigma or a reality battler as I've called myself until i came across this term.

Very good video, also a little poetic.
A nuance about competition, even if it's not your main motivation to compete, you can use it to better achieve your personal goals, having other people implied. Even if you are a sigma, you know that some goals can't be achieved alone, and cooperation and competition can help in those goals.

Just a clarification concerning competition : (an example) In tennis, it is thanks to the type of ball our opponents hit, whether a slice or topspin, a short or long ball, his or her tenacity and choice of strategy that helps one to improve performance, without it, we cannot progress, physically mentally, technically, it pushes us and hels us to evolve. Competition is not about noteriety, but it can be, certainly ones ego plays a part, if that concept even exists.

    • @obtuseangler768
      @obtuseangler768 6 месяцев назад

The type of ball is the same whether its sliced or has topspin, it's the choice of racquet strokes that are different.

Sigmas do not have an attention deficit, just the opposite. They can be labeled as ADHD but that is because sigmas don't play by rules. Lots of things in school are flat out boring and worthless. I was labeled ADHD which is absurd. I graduated with honors from high school and college. No one with an attention deficit could do that. I am hyper though. I am like the energizer bunny.

I cringe at the words "Sigma Males"; sounds like a new narcissistic label. But still, I prefer it to "weird". So just because you're a loner sometimes it doesn't mean you are one and again this character is rare and I don't think there is a lot of them but they do exist lol.

Not all sigmas prefer minimalism in the sense being explained here.
Some of us collect things and have lots of stuff, but only things we actually value, without regard to how society values it.
I own cars, phones, clothes, and virtually everything else I own until they no longer function.
My interests today are the same as they were 20 years ago so I don't try to change my style with changing times.
