fired up ACC for the first time the day you presented these new daily races on your channel, thanks Tidgney!! you hooked me up on GT years ago with Sport, now it’s ACC , absolute influencer ! thanks for sharing your passion and help the community the way you do 🐐
I'm glad to see ACC doing dailies now. Gives me a reason to actually start playing this. However, I want to point out just one thing. "I hate setups. I really do" Tidge says every time gt7 has setups, but not a single complaint about having even more things to set up on ACC. 🤔🤔🤔😁
If you've watched many of his ACC videos, you will find that he uses paid setups in LFM, sounds like he's using free setups from YT in this race. I completely quit GT7 a couple months ago partly because not being able to use setups and am transitioning into ACC, it's a steep learning curve, especially if you want to learn to do your own setups, or at least understand how to tweak a setup to suit your driving style or for different tracks.
@@Stroker-Z28 if the physics work similar to real world driving, then I'm not too worried about it. I use to work for a shop building race cars and have built a few of my own. The little bit I've used ACC, my biggest issue is finding a FOV I feel comfortable with
@@grahamhill4113 to be fair, gr3/gr4 cars in gt7 are mostly about handling as well. I know pd gave some of them options for things like turbos in single player, but bop turns all of that off in multiplayer. What I meant by physics is the driving characteristics. For instance, in gt7, less camber = more grip which is not like real life. The toe settings also don't work like real life. Dampers and springs seem to only work well when extremely soft in gt7.
I dislike setups full stop, whether it's ACC or GT7. But on ACC there's now way to limit it and they are far more realistic with how they work. GT7's are not realistic in the slightest and some don't even make sense which is the frustrating part of GT7. For me I'd rather everyone used the same and go from there 😊
I had totally forgotten about these races, thanks for the reminder Tidge got to get on this need a change from GT7 and this looks like the right solution, keep the vids coming they are looking great....
setups in ACC ... just have it saved before race! tuning in GT7 ... 'don't like it at all' umm, I don't see the difference :p they both have setups/tuning before races but when GT7 does it, makes Tidge quite unhappy! An aside; rain driving, you go off line because the line is worn down by racing and is smoother than the non racing line, rougher track = more grip in wet
I'll be honest (Mentioned it in another comment). I hate setups on all racing games whether it's ACC or GT7. There is a difference though, ACCs are very much more realistic with their setup changes and how it imapcts the car. GT7's really don't make sense and alot of the time you can go extremes. You also can't save the setups on GT7 so you end up having to input it every race which is very frustrating.
@@tidgney thank you for the response, I was being more silly than serious. Thank you for clarifying the differences, as I haven't played ACC. GT7 has been irking me lately in general; my lobbies have people intentionally spinning/ramming then I go to do single player and the AI was doing the same thing to me; I swear I could see them swerve into me. I want to play watching you, and sometimes just put your stuff on instead of playing when I have a day I just can't handle even the AI driving dirty some days. Thanks for all you do.
I was surprised even the quick races in multiplayer are full on ps5 right now. I have to do a few of those before I go to these Simgrid races I think. Can you have the beginner settings where you automatically start the car on the Simgrid quick races?
@tidge do you mind sharing your acc fanatec wheel settings? somehow acc feels super floaty for me on my gt dd pro 8nm. Thanks mate and keep up the great content, absolutely love the channel!
Dude. You have really sold this to me. My game is on order and on its way. I'll be subscription player too. I can't wait. GT7 has gone all cliquey and toxic like GTS did for a while. Shame tbh
This game is wayyyyyyyy better than gt7 in every single way, more realistic cleaner races etc I never ever played any other racing game since gt1 first came out this is the first time and it's so much much better, I highly recommend doing a short career before you do any online racing, your rating goes up while offline aswell so it starts you off at an advantage in the much cleaner races
I’m a GT7 player looking to try jumping over to ACC for better racing and more variety. Besides signing up for Sim Grid, what DLC do I need to get started online?
Idk how you enjoy these I can be leading by 7 to 9 second and there always one guy that will get upset that I'm lapping them and I'm destroyed and I get a point deduction for them hitting me
I mean you can see all the races I've done, I've had fantastic racing constantly so it's been good. Highly recommend you report drivers who are purposefully taking people out.

This has been a fresh breath of air since sim grid has done daily races on consoles. GT7 has been really dull lately.
I've switched to Forza because every race is different
@@fuzzybear86 Comparing Forza to GT7 is hilarious
GT7 is a better game than Forza, but Forza has better daily races

The setups in ACC are are all about handling. There's no engine, gearbox etc tuning or upgrading of parts. This is more like "real" GT3 racing

I love having the tracks change every race. I can plan to race a specific track, and get my practice and setup done while I wait.
Excellent! I'm going in fully on ACC PS5 and I need all the help I can get. Lead on!
The same here. Other than losing liveries I'm proud of, I don't think I'm going to miss GT7.
great addition to ACC with crossplay too hopefully will be available on AC Evo too as well as mod support.
So excited to do the Quick Races. Been good CLEAN fun

Great race, that was me you were battling and that was a sorry flash for the bump
All good mate, thanks for a fantastic race!
6:41 nice to see the half off-track slowed the driver down. That would make little difference in gt7
8:20 just beautiful to watch. well done
Great to see this Tidge and hear about the good racing.
Yes, please do a video on how to get involved. I have ACC but still don't get it regarding the online stuff.
Find yourself someone who makes you smile as much as Tidge does when he's racing side-by-side with another car for more than two corners 😅
😂😂😂😂😂
Looking forward to your breakdowns for these races. All the need to know stuff
Please, Tidge, keep doing these ACC videos..... And for the love of racing, break out the R8!

I need to get involved in this over the weekend. I'm struggling with any racing game that's not VR now, GT has ruined everything 😂
@@joeshmoe8134 I'm afraid I have to disagree with you there son.
Can't race on flat screen anymore coz of PSVR2 GT7, gutted ACC's got no VR 😢

I will post it in my how to video coming soon!

Going to do a full video on this to explain in detail. But sign up to the Sim Grid website and go from there.
Ah it's the tire simulator game
Why does the throttle bar (the green one I guess) look like its never full not even on straights
Graphical bug in replay mode, it's been like that since it's launch and never changed weirdly.
Does VR2 work with this game?
Not that I am aware of.
Starting 4th and was immediately wrecked as soon as the lights went green. I want to like this game but they need to use more ghosting.
Ghosting is not a simulation........
@@RC-nv6rc neither is letting clowns in a race car. Also, the game already has ghosting
@@001sander2 you should probably stick with GT7.... PLEASE!

Should I swap to ACC I’m tired of dirty racing on gt7
Play both and enjoy both 😊
I have acc on ps5 how do you get sim grid for it? Is it on ps store?
You sign up externally and they send you private server codes, at least I think that's how it is
Check out my first video on this as it helps go through the steps

@tidgney I report 7 people per race. I'll show you a live examples if needed.
Gutted this is only ps5
It's Xbox Series S/X as well
I'm going to give ACC a go. GT7 just isn't doing it for me any longer with the bland, predictable and repetetive daily races.
Yooo 1st comment 🫡 keep it up bro!!
All I've been playing this week. Gt7 can blow me
Where are these races on the menu cos they are not mine I can't find?
It’s simgrid that host these races.
Go and register on there and you will be able to join these quick races for feee
Simgrid are hosting these, check out my first video on ACC some more details in that one 😊
