This era for me was the band's prime. Jon's voice was so flawless here, if compared to '89 of course '89 has stronger power but this was the time that he can really control his voice.
Yes it true , they used backing track , however Jon actually sang the whole chorus over the track at some shows during the European leg of keep the faith tour , not on the key change though..
Nicely put together! Personally I would have chosen the sbn recording from the Stockholm show 93 since the backing track is much lower in the mix on that one and Jon is actually singing the high parts in the chorus.
(0:10) the tattoo from the video loop is like the song title is blood on blood but for this song it is Livin on a prayer Bon Jovi concert Yokohama 1988 Link: ruclips.net/video/FgLKVYaEcW8/видео.html
why do they edit it ??? Using the same audio for different videos is stupid! put the original audio that is much better than this one that comes out in playback!
The audio has to be from the 80’s cause Jon’s vocals are screaming at the end. And the video is also a cut up and you can see it just by watching in the spots where the band is singing and you can’t hear them because it’s spots they aren’t supposed to be singing anyways. And the biggest give away this video is spliced together is because Jon keeps jumping from jacket to no jacket throughout the whole video. Still good quality video and audio. And I enjoyed watching but it’s not an actual live footage and audio video.
Derek McGehee sorry, Jon is skipping the high parts on the chorus on this one , the backing track is doing all the work unfortunately , also the audio is from 1993 Tampa Florida
Derek McGehee sorry I thought you were saying that the live audio was from an 80s show , now I see that you were referring to the studio recording they used as backing track, however In any case it’s still live audio from 93 but with very high playback in the chorus
At this era it's factually the best band in the world
This era for me was the band's prime. Jon's voice was so flawless here, if compared to '89 of course '89 has stronger power but this was the time that he can really control his voice.
I think he was way better here than 89
He has always sucked live
It was way better in 1986
@@roykeane3510 of course it does, nothing can replace that, it’s the original key. We’re just talking about the post slippery era.
@@fartdonkey8290 bet you can do better :)

Great video and audio! But it's really amazing to see how much playback they had even back then in the chorus.

Jon didnt even do the high parts on the New Jersey tour that i found. He did on the tube in 86 but he damaged his voice
he sometimes did the high parts but it would be kinda rare, same with in 93
Search Stockholm or Milan '93. He did some high notes in those concerts, there are some others from '93 but I don't remember them right now.
@@bbbazzinga norway too and live 8 2005
@@nick-pc8md Exactly! Norway was one of them as well. He didn't do the key change in live 8 2005 though, he mimicked it but didn't sing.
