How sealed is the kettle? Couldn't you just fill it with boiled water before leaving the house so it only takes a bit of power for the first brew.

Great minds think alike my friend, with my mods I’m going to make a rubber bung to seal of the spout and with extra insulation and then filling the kettle up before I go to work with hot water out of the tap which is say 60 degrees I’m fairly confident the battery’s won’t get that hammered, still nervous about converting it to xgt battery’s,I’m just a lowly plumber with very limited electrical skills and really don’t want to blow the circuit board up!!! 🤟🤟
