One of the interesting things to note about the Mallard Sno-Wing, is that the hood was produced using the original molds for the prototype 1967 Snobirdie Chaparral snowmobiles.

I remember seeing a machine like this at the Gladwin County Ice Carnival in Albright Shores in Michigan when I was around 10 years old, 1968 or later.

I would just guess its a called a snow wing being that it is a mallard ....A mallard is a duck with wings ...lol
