Why is this such a Tom Hiddleston thing to do? Apologise, stop a fight, act awkward at a dinner, etc. Great casting lol
It’s a typically British thing.
To apologise profusely
Well he's tom hiddleston
Why are you so pressed? he did nothing wrong? So why are you hating?
@@hannahhussien2079 they aren’t
@@hannahhussien2079 they aren’t hating, they were just making a point. It’s not supposed to be rude🤨
I was not expecting to watch Tom get literally manhandled. And now I'm blushing 😂😂😂
Oh there's another scene then that I think you would very much like
suhailmall98 which scene?
suhailmall98
GOSH.. o‿O that scene is even far better!!!
the manhandling was improvised, he didn't even ask :P lol
Pikaboubou ikr! I was like hmm Tom looks nice in this thumbnail. DAYUM.
wow that was one the most well acted scenes I have ever seen. the frustration, the suspicious, the ignorance, the anger, the gentlemanly behaviour all portrayed perfectly.
nivedita bhalla .. The feelings the sluts.
..and imagine, they had to do it all in front of John Le Carre himself - who's at the next table
If y'all get a copy of the DVD, this is one scene I remember from the commentary. Apparently, John le Carré was going over the top with his bit part; they were having a job finishing it; and you can see a small indication of this: Tom Hiddleston is almost laughing when talking to le Carré.
Imaginr having dinner with Tom Hiddleston and he looks at you like this 0:58
Your welcome girls
OMGG me I die I melt under the table ❤️🤤😂
Hehe... *blushes*
I wouldn't be able to eat anything and I would be shaking being nervous. ☺️
I would be speechless if I had dinner with him too
And gays
I want Tom Hiddleston to be the next James Bond
you mean, you're a Hiddletonerrrrr ahhhhh!!!
These days it seems highly unlikely, especially after doing this (and the future “White Stork” ). What about the Idris Alba rumors? I thought he might be a good option.
@@meitalpo Yeah, and Henry Cavill too, but I prefer Tom Hiddleston
Right? I want him to be James Bond sooo badly.
But it's wrong 😥 he'll have another James bond it won't 😒😪😪 him
I literally slammed my phone down so hard on the table when Tom's butt was grabbed...I am surprised I didn't crack the screen 😂👌
GardenOfThorns hahahahah 😂😂😂😂😂even how tom acted seriously after this he would also laugh 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
I WAS LIKE “WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!” 😂😂😂
I almost dropped my phone on the ground😂😂😂
I just gaped at my phone for minutes lol
That old man is the author of the original book, John Le Carré
I was going to make the same comment.
Thank you very much for mentioning it.
To all hiddlestoners...Tom is indeed a great person and his performance in the night manager was outstanding..In this scene..Yall gotta understand that its all acting..all the grabbing is acting...As a fan..Wishing to grope him the same way is just disgusting and literally a sexual assault and its not fair that he gets treated that way..For the sake of a scene and the actors and professional here..So how about we simply comment about the series instead of wanting to disrespect his space yeah
Exactly! Not to mention that the other actor did that to Tom without Tom's approval..
Nolan Perez true...hes lucky tom is professional not to cause anything from that..Being a man doesnt mean they can be treated like that
@@calumwilliam1018 finally! Someone with a brain! I literally saw a comment that said "omg he raped tom hiddleston" with laughing emojis!
Nolan Perez i saw that too..Thats just wrong and abusive..
@@calumwilliam1018 people are being so repulsive, if Tom Hiddleston were a woman everyone would be rioting
The embarrassment...holy shit.
But honestly, Tom is such a charmer. I would die if he spoke to me like that❤️
I said the "what the hell is going on." at the exact same time as that man. Because.. what the hell was going on.
0:30 so no one is talking about how funny this moment is ? No ? Im the only that find this hilarious ?😂😂 BRAVO TOM HOLLANDER
Absolutely Very funny endeed. That's why I uploaded that scene. Every time I watch it, I can't help but laugh out loud...
@@DMarite Right ?😂 thank you😂 " what is it out heere ? This is the sea! there are many lobster living out here very happy laughing at your three Michelin stars"😂
@@w.a3210 The writing is perfect. This series is perfect
I think Tom Hollander deserves a prize for his acting. With his face and touching, desire and hatred portrayed in a very short moment. he is the best in this scene. very good actor. angry but not less funny moment. Corky was described so exactly by him. well done, man.
Ah yes, apologize to the table that was slightly bumped when Corky punched a man out. Not the ACTUAL SODDING MAN ON THE GROUND. JESUS.
Yes I thought that was odd too - and there would be a much bigger fuss in general if you PUNCHED one of their waiters. Geez.
They're rich assholes, he had to play the part of the rich asshole that doesn't care for the staff, only for the other rich patrons
I skipped the word "man" after Sodding and was like, "why should he apologize to the sodding salad?? Wha?"😂😂
The waiter had already been helped by Roper's men, they lift him off the floor and accompany him, Jonathan Pine apologizes to the next table because they reserved the lobster that Corky had just thrown on the floor, I mean in every way he ruined their lunch , He ruined the food and the atmosphere, and Jonathan was an employee of the Hotel, it is natural for him to seek to conform to everyone, that is how he caught Roper's attention
The man he apologised to was John le Carre. It was a way to get him on screen.
Well that escalated quickly!
Also looks like Tom was smirking when his ass was grabbed 😂
And the Golden Globe goes to Tom Hiddleston for The Night Manager
*claps*
Wow I think I should start watching this series
ultramarineblue it's a series?!!
well...mini series
how many épisodes ?
Ino Lynch Six. You won't regret it. It's amazing.
It’s on *Amazon Prime* 📱💻📶
0:59 this killed me ahhhh😣
Tom's "sit down sit down" got me
A scene full of many layers to read plus comprehend indeed! We wish MR HIDDLESTONE all the very best from lucks this night on the Emmy's awards! Many thanks for post in' 18 09 2016
He deserves to win. Fingers crossed.
DMarite The fact Ms.Susanne Bier was actually awarded with the very best prize in the category the TNM was exhibited, remarks both her quality mastership as well as of the one from the whole crew she directed so brilliantly plus add to that the Emmy being given to her from the very hands of The Night Manager's protagonist is a magnificent plus indeed:) I thank you for your kindness in replying to me, all the best º namaste
THIS CRACKED ME UP MORE THAN IT SHOULD HAVE
I'm going to meet Tom Hiddleston real soon for the first time and tell him how much I love his acting in this series and as Loki.
Tom Hollander not being one of the top actors in the industry is beyond me. He is simply a monster. A monster I tell you!
Not the type of person you want to eat lunch with
Why does this just seem like something Tom Hiddleston would normally do?
Type casting
Do what, defend against unconcentual blowjobs?
I'm not prepared for this! Dang it! Tom😍😂
Perfect! I love Tom Hiddleston's acting! Superb and other castings!
2:34 - Pine: "Andrew Birch". Me: "John Le Carré".
I love this mini series. I’ve watched it 3 times now. It’s fantastic!
One of my favorite scenes!
Tom is so humble and calm as every character.I love you Tom
Idk about yall, but the acting so good I felt second hand embarrassment
Tom Hollander at his best ;) this is my favorite scene from the show and all actors/actresses are brilliant in it
I played this video a thousand time !!! How great acting for all actor !! That's wonderful series!!!🎉
0:58
I'm pregnant.
2:28 the smack
How I would like to be Tom Hollanders friend, he's such an intelligent and witty fellow. You just know it...
That is until he embarrasses everyone at the dinner table
loved this tv programme every single episode hope there's a season 2, $$ IS powet
JESUS CHRIST
I did not see that coming OMG
Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie?! What??!! How have I not seen this movie yet?!?
It's not a movie, it's a tv series in 6 episodes named "The night manager" (2016), adaptation of book by John le Carré.
Tom Hiddleston
And
Hugh Laurie
I’m screaming
I am Corky on this one
Don’t know if any of you noticed. But... Tom was somewhat smiling at a part when he was trying to sit Corky down... 2:24 ish.
Sweethorse 222 yeah cos for the cast, it was a funny scene to perform.
Sweethorse 222 and I think its at 2:23
it was more like an embarassed/annoyed grimace
2:25....lord help me 😅
Ok... i want to be Corky... JESUS!!. Tom why are you so perfect 😍😍😍
It seems that grabbing the crotch is a gang thing, to show the powder, to demonstrate who is in control. The author implied that Corky was gay, only to make the logic work - When Roper saw Corky sexually assaulted Birch, he immediately knew Corky was not only envious, but also hated Birch for not being able to 'have him'; all these added up to one conclusion, Corky spoke ill of Birch with no evident truth, and there was nothing between Birch and Jed at all.
Lets hope Hugh Laurie wins tomorrow The Golden Globes for this role he really deserves it
Well, he won. Both won. Congratulations. Well deserved.
Sara Zonana and Olivia too of course, I was shocked to be fair because none won an Emmy but I'm glad they won the golden globe!
Wanda Maximoff it was the great surprise of Night im so happy this show did so well at the Golden Globes and hugh gave such a great speech.
Sara Zonana I agree! All of the awards were well deserved!
I come from the future, the three of them won the golden globe
I loved this show, so good. Hugh Laurie's character was so evil. I didn't realize the yummy man was Tom Huddleston, aka LOKI. Must watch this again.
Poor little Tom 😂
Spot John Le Carre in the restaurant (with one line!).
Yes, at 2:37
oh god that grab hahaha whoo made me squirm a bit
He apologizes to the customers but doesn't say anything to the server who got fucking punched
Tom's Arse😍😏
I'm worried. Tom, darling are your jewels alright?
For a god of mischief, Loki sure does seem to possess much better manners than Lord Cutler Beckett
Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie are one of the people who don't get dwarfed next to Elizabeth Debicki
Two of the people.
well, that was....unexpected :D and kind of hot :D :D
I love it
Pure acting and zero cgi...but tension it built was to the level of 1000000k
Tom is gorgeous ♥️
2:23 you can see Tom just grinning after Corky grabbed his butt
More like a gritting smile
He broke out of character, that scene must have been so embarrassing 💀
He broke his character.but yet it is Tom Hiddleston we talking about.he actually blend just nice
Cringing.
@@valerie4211I read in an article that this improv would scar him for life.
Tom is so polite even after he got groped qwq
He was trying not to laugh!!!😝😝😝
2:35 That was John le Carré himself.
Dang, Hugh Laurie really transformed here from the days of Blackadder as well as Fry & Laurie.
Huge respect to Mr. le Carre who passed away several days ago.
I.... I just have sooooo many emotions rn!!! And wish that was me!!
Well Corky has the balls to take away a lobster salad from John le Carre!
Tom killed it 🔥
Did he really just 👋🏻🍑🍆😩
2:38 is that John le Carré himself??!!!
Tom To the rescue 🤩😂
HAHA, SCENE OF THE MOVIE!!!!
This is why we all need Corky on our side. Or you get a whacking great dose of whatever the hell you'd call what Corky does. An adult temper tantrum.
Loki Laufeyson VII ...A Drunk
Loki Laufeyson VII being that unstable he could be more of a liability
He was hurt and resentful.. this is him showing disappointment in himself, in Roper for not siding with him, and just sexual frustration (and downright frustration) at Pine/ Birch for swooping in there with his charm and allure
@@dejavu2752 That's true. Good point.
He basically brought this character to The White Lotus season 2.
The night manager is modeled after Kim Philby, who was not only admired, "but worshiped".
Huh didn't know that, makes me like the show even more.
I'm the person in the back who would just come out of nowhere WORLD STAR haha😄😄😄😄😄
I want “Hard Boiled” who appears on his IMDB page forever now, to happen.
House and Loki in this show.
Tom Hiddleston must be the next James Bond!!!
Tom Hollander, seen here being the British Joe Pesci.
That's a really good analysis, I'd not thought of that but it's perfect
I think we can all agree that we are jealous of Corky
So your jealous of a man sexually assaulting someone...
What was the point of the groping? Was he drunk, was it lust, or was he trying to get another point across?
all three most likely
Definitely all three. Birch/Hiddleston was a threat to his position. He was drunk, jealous, suspicious of Birch & lusted after his body. All that tension exploded in this scene.
It is implied from Ep 1 that Corky is gay...
That was extremely disturbing...
The disgrace of it, cant stop laughing at this,Corky went too far🤣 but I would accept the apology from Tom/Mr Pine immediately, his charm & good manners are disarming 😄❤ Really good ensemble cast with this show
Never thought I’d see Loki Dr House and Jim “Miami” Beach at once
All of these comments are mostly about Tom. I feel like I’m the only one who came here for Roper 😂
I would have thrown him in the ocean.
The most awkward scene in BBC history.
He plays that evil little man so well doesn't he? Not the first time he's put such spite and venom into the role.
I never got why Jonathan would jeopardize the entire mission by flirting with jed. Drives me crazy lol
ayesha and loki
Oh my god!
2:20 😂😂😂😂👏👏
CORKY!!!!
Tom Hollander also played a quirky oddball character in Pride and Prejudice.
I'M SORRY BUT ARE WE GONNA TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT THE SERVER IS THE DEMON FROM THE SPANISH SHOW ANGEL O DEMONIO OR WHAT?!
Okay but is that Dr house in blue shirt?
Still looking done with everyone
2:25 thank god it was a double
It wasn’t. Tom said that it was improvised and scarred him.
I was so deeply cringed because that man just mishandled him and he couldn't say a word like why is Tom always mistreated in all his movies??? 😭😭😭💔💔💔
I’ve noticed that as well..He seems to get pushed around alot.
SHIT ! DIDN'T EXPECT THAT I-
I was seriously freaking out 😬😬
Andrew (Tom) and Jed are not the most discreet pair
And Corky is just so observant🤦♀
Damn her neck is longgg
First-class, VIP, Michelin restaurants....money never always equals sincerity
Bond. James Bond.
The "out of seafood by the sea" bit was stolen from Fraser. It was hilarious when they did it.
