Pit Firing

Pit firing is an alternate way to fire pots. In this method we dig a pit, a size suitable for you. We add layers of coal, sticks, hay, sawdust, cow pies, carbonates and other natural material that can burn and create some wonderful effects.
I did this firing with my students and it was a complete experiment! I'll be definitely doing this firing way more often :)
