I absolutely love my GTI Clubsport, but the non-buttons drive me crazy and I have an issue finding a comfortable seating position, because the headrest is tilted forward too much for my big-ass head. The DCC is a must, on the comfortable setting it's almost floaty - really nice for long distances

In South Africa we do 9.7 with a MK8GTI with IS38 with 95oct, and keep in mind that we do not have the ea888.4 engine in them, we have the ea888.3. It also only has 375-380hp. Also tcu not possible to tune yet.

Impressive top speed yes. BUT Mine is stock and does 267 speedometer so 250 actual, but at that you are not on the end of 6th gear and it changes to 7 automatically. It EASILY keeps the 267 speedometer in 7th gear stock, so I don't think it would be that much slower stock

In my opinion, they make DCC an option because people who are gonna really track the car will replace the suspension anyway, so why would they put as standard a more expensive suspesion that is going to get thrown away? Just my 2 cents though

Its very cringe. high compression low rev'ing 4 cylinders sound pretty bad, the pops and bangs just ruin whatever might have been there. Pretty bad that the mrk8 R has some burble/ pops from factory. I think you might need to go and listen to some more cars if you think this sounds good...

Video says it was in hot weather.. A hot hatch that can do 287 gps definitely makes a ton of power. They make a lot of drag with that body shape so there you go
Here in india, we have a 2.0L tsi engine swap polo (which is 4 door version of golf gti) couple with 4 wheel drive system which makes around 400bhp and can do 300+ kmph pretty easily.
Dcc is a compromise if you want options ok, but driving it hard passive dampers are the way to go. Nurburing mode is just a selling marketing. Dcc sport is too hard and full comfort is too floaty. Go passive and upgrade to some good kw if you want a good Nürburgring Golf
Might wanna watch out with driving Belgian tuned cars. They're officially not allowed to tune them (sadly) and in case of a bad crash you'll get no insurance coverage.
The 370 hp "446 hp" Golf returns again..send this lemon back to the tuner. .. my Stock ,2000 kg E55 estate with 476 hp and slow 5 G tronic box does a 9.5 100-200kph all day.

I really doubt that front end can handle that power in the corners. Asking the front wheels to put down power, turn and brake from a 440+hp engine is too much (IMO), at least in corners. Straight line, it does not matter. I am more of handling and weight compared to more power and speed. Still cool though.
Here in Israel stage 2 cupras (same car basically) are doing 100-200 In around 7.3 seconds and my cupra which is a stage 1 plus setup my 100-200 is 9.1...

my 1.8 TSi tuned leon FR does 100-200 in 11.6 (measured with 2 passengers 160kg in total and full fuel tank) manual gearbox. 310hp.

100-200 km/h in 9.86 s is very slow for 400+ hp. This car is most likely about 370 hp or is very heavy.
It's because of the VW engine. They are not good enough.

Without forging it, about 400 is still reliable. If you forge it, you can definitely push it to 600. No idea how much further though.
People have been pushing various 4 cylinders to 1000 hp but not to drive them daily of course..

Own the original Clubsport MK7. Mines Stage1 tuned wth IE Carbon fibre intake & Custom Exhaust (Invidia downpipe on sportcat, with Cobra Sport Non-Res Catback) If i tell u it sounds good you better belive me! Really bassey sounding setup in a classy way, just like a GTI shud be! Pushin bout 380hp 470tq at moment. Will do the TVS Engineering DQ250 DSG 6 Optimization & it may hit around 400hp or so they say, still wth the safety of being Stage1. Also have DCC & use it everyday btw! I really doubt that front end can handle that power in the corners. Asking the front wheels to put down power, turn and brake from a 440+hp engine is too much (IMO), at least in corners. Straight line, it does not matter. I am more of handling and weight compared to more power and speed. Still cool though.

Here in Israel stage 2 cupras (same car basically) are doing 100-200 In around 7.3 seconds and my cupra which is a stage 1 plus setup my 100-200 is 9.1...
