He is not lying. I took his advice and my plant it thriving. It shoots 1-2 leaves per week. It’s now starting to trail. I am so happy for that. Thank you ❤️
I have two pothos plants hanging on my curtain rail, so they get a lot of sunlight, and they are growing so fast! Had them for a few months, currently five new leaves in different stages of growth on one, and four on the other. I’ve never had much luck with plants, but these £1 ikea clearance plants are absolutely thriving. I want to have some in water, so will start propagating soon.
Can totally vote for this. While I didn't try this, I haven't grow light over my pothos plant for 12 hours and it got so long that from a hanging pot over 5 ft up in the air. It grew all the way down to the floor and continue to grow
I think it depends what you wait from your plant. If you want big leaves, growing them will probably take much much longer. Mine is doing kind of big leaves atm and from start to finish it takes 2 weeks.
Light is the issue in most cases, which is why I covered it in my video, but in your case you probably have another limiting factor :) Perhaps it needs to be repotted, maybe it ran out of space or the soil is too compacted

Absolutely! A grow light can replace natural light completely. But you need a high quality grow light. I've tested a bunch over the last couple of years and made a super easy tool to help people choose a good grow light: www.growlightfinder.com
My mom has a massive one she keeps indoors and just the oath voupke months ive seen dozens of leaves growing. I was surprised because all her plants usually die
I don’t have any tools to measure the sunlight.. just for the reference, can you please tell me which direction the window is facing and how far the Pothos pot is?(the one that’s growing fast!)
Hi, my Pothos plant sits in front of a south-facing window, and on sunny days it gets direct sunlight from 11 am until 4 pm. It receives bright indirect light over 7,000 lux, plus a lot of direct light/direct sun which increases the light to 40,000-100,000 lux. It's right next to the window. 😊
I have to pothos that were really high up so I could only water them rarely and that's when I remembered that this was its state for 1-2 months.I've taken them down now, repotted and put them where they were before (on my north west facing window) one seems fine but hasn't grown at all (its been 5 days) Before it has really high up I would get at least one leaf per week. the other one's end had died/burned so I pruned it near the node 2 days ago and I don't know where it will grow from Please help and tell me where my pothos will grow from after I have pruned it and how to make them grow.😥😥😥😥😥🙏🙏🙏🙏 Edit; oh and its summer so shouldn't it grow faster
My neon pothos enters the chat while growing very very slowly under great lighting. If it gets any direct sun its leaves burn so i put it under a grow light getting 800 foot candles....Still i may get one new leaf a month.
I think maybe because the plant tries to grow more leaves to absorb light since it can't get enough on it's location so it thinks it can absorb more if it tries to grow more.
I need help with my plants, they keep on growing so slow they grow only one inch per month and they are in a lot of light.not just my fruit but my flowers,my vegetables and my other plants

Hi, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, plant diagnosis is not always quick and easy. There are situations where it’s possible to diagnose a problem quickly. But a lot of cases are more complex, and require photos and additional information. For example, brown leaf patches can be caused by overwatering, underwatering, overfertilizing, fungal disease, compacted soil…To properly diagnose it, I would need quite a bit of information from you :) Info on the care the plant is receiving (light, watering, fertilizing…) as well as the environment it’s in. Honestly, almost any kind of LED light works, especially if you don't have a bunch of plants (but even then, you can make it work). You don't need some fancy set up. As long as it's bright, it'll work. I love in a basement apartment with no windows near and have 20+ plants under a bright, 3 armed, $15 LED light from Walmart and they're thriving. You can find decent grout lights on Amazon but if you already have some laying around, give that a shot.
You can use wires made for plants, wires wrapped in plastic. There are some that claim to be wrapped in rubber, but most of them are unfortunately plastic. Search for "plant wire ties" :)
@@syedarmaghanhassan4652 If you want pothos to grow larger leaves, it should climb. So yes that part is true. Provided it receives enough light and water. If it doesn't, climbing alone won't help

I just lift them up and tuck the top onto another leaf vine to hold it so when she is inside my cats don't get it. I don't even put it outside much maybe every 3 days or so and hardly water it as it gets the steam from bathroom shower and she is thriving. Should I cut the long stem that don't have leaves 🤔 I have it for years
I almost always trim back long leafless stems in order to promote new growth closer to the base.
You can if you don't like the way it looks
