For about 10 years, she probably was in inconspicuous secondary roles. And then she said that if she didn’t get anything significant before the age of 30 (in terms of roles), she would give up her film career. A week before her 30th birthday, Melissa landed the role of Sookie St. James. As for me, it was this role that opened her to the viewer. And what else can you call it if not fate? She's beautiful as Sookie and generally wonderful in all roles. How glad I am that then everything turned out for her just like that and we have Melissa))
