A great list. I agree with your five and would add just how smooth it is to drive this car. So quiet and comfortable on the road - I call it a magic carpet ride because of how you just scoot up to speed then glide along with no effort and no noise. P.S. - you obviously have great taste as our car is the exact same colors inside and out .😁 After years of black, black, black, and gray interiors it's great to see GM designing with nice, light interior colors.
I lucked into an early ’22 Premiere with the "Sun 'n Sound package that unfortunately (for the dealer) was under GMs battery stop sale order, tying up the dealers floor plan. To make matters worse (for them), they had added their own "appearance" package which included tinted windows and pin stripe. NICE. EVs are not popular in my area so the store was beyond anxious to get rid of this car and make a deal. As soon as the battery was upgraded, I got a phone call. I'd been shopping EVs for a while and knew a bargain so that afternoon, I drove home with the best car on the market at that time. Pays to live right. The Bolt EUV Premiere might not be the perfect car, but it's as close as one can be.
I had a 2017 Bolt, then a 2020 Bolt. Loved both but then while I was at my Chevy dealership this past weekend (Atlanta Ga) I saw they had a few Bolt EUVs on their lot. The one that caught my eye was this white/white grey interior EUV with all the bells and whistles. I thought it was brand new but it was a slightly used (built date 3/23) with 2300 miles on it. The 2020 was fine but after I drove this beautiful EUV I had to have it especially with the sunroof. So for $30k out the door I now have a Bolt EUV, my third Bolt :D It has Super Cruise but I'll probably never use it. Love the Ice blue on your EUV! Oh BTW, sub'd!
GM promised me a new battery on the 2020, but that didn't happen. I probably will get the Equinox once available. I'm currently waiting for my Maverick order (2nd vehicle) to come through.
Regarding the wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can do a "one one thousand" press on the physical home button and you can switch between yhe Chevy IU and apple CarPlay pretty easily. Also too, with 1 pedal driving, you can still use the regen paddle on the steering wheel, so if you need to stop a bit quicker, but don't need to use the brakes.
You can use the all weather rubber trunk mat at the bottom, on top of the styrofoam block in back if you need more space for a while. It doesn't cover all the metal down there, but it fits.
I couldn't agree with you more I have an EUV premier with sound and sun package redline. Mine is in Black and I've had it since February, I charge exclusively at home just driving around town. Have not had to take it on a long trip, so don't know much about DC FC. Q-Merrit has been great and the service from the electrician that came out was fantastic. I got used to one pedal driving during the test drive, it reminded me of the Autopia ride at Disneyland.
Yes they give you a duel level charger 1 and 2. And then cover the instal of a 240v outlet. It’s was a very smooth process for me with nothing further out of pocket.
23 bolt EV 2LT - bought a Costco mini fridge, barely squeezed into the back, standing, had to take out the all the trunk floor, wouldn't want to pay $10K more for a EV just for refrigerator hauling
The model y is a pretty compelling vehicle though. Especially since it may be the least expensive all wheel drive 7 passenger EV out there. The large passenger awd EV options are slim and too expensive.

I just purchased a certified 2019 Chevy Bolt premiere With only 8000 miles on it and a brand new Upgraded battery. And a 72 month 72000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, got it for 24K and love it, Did not get the tax credit though, Dealer said it was not available because original purchaser got it, not sure how that really works.
No disrespect, why would you buy a used one for 24k when you can buy a new model and pay about the same with the tax incentives? Im looking into buying one but I’m very apprehensive, I don’t trust Chevrolet to do a quality car these days. I can’t afford a Tesla but they make it easy to finance and buy/lease. The price you see if the real price. I know Chevy dealers will try to squeeze as much as they can from the deal.
@@jduran111 I'm not talking about now, used prices are out of whack. I'm speaking of the future when his Volt no longer works for him. Presumably the used car landscape will have calmed down by then. Right now, a new Bolt makes much more sense for most buyers.
I love it too. Its been a great car since we also have a gas powered van. I think it would fill the need for most commuter drivers and cones in at a good price.
@@ericcarson342 Yes I will get full 7500. Dealers are not giving any discounts, but GM lowered their prices. The car I got for $33K was selling for $41k a year earlier.
I am looking at the EV (the shorter/smaller version) vs. the EUV. Does anyone have experience with that one and this one? Price difference is quite a bit. Is it worth the extra cost?
The EV version actually gets slightly better range. Charging is exactly the same. The main difference in my opinion is passenger room in the back. I know the premier EUV includes a few more things that you can’t get on the EV. Also keep in mind thatGM has stated they are going to keep making the bolt using their new Ultium platform. Although there is no timeline for that.
ruclips.net/video/tCDZcAmd9mk/видео.html GM changed their minds and are no longer discontinuing the bolt. But it will be an ultium version so technically different. And there are no details on when and where they will make that version. As for the current version, they have committed to support it for at least 10 years.
The best thing about Bolt is they sell it for MUCH less than it takes to make it! If they sold it for 5% over what it cost them to build it, everyone would think it’s a terrible deal….🤷♂️
I doubt I would have purchased one for a price that was much higher, especially with the slower DCFC. But at the current price I felt like was getting far more for the price as compared to other vehicles.
The only way for me to cost effectively own one would be if gasoline hits 10 dollars a gallon. If you cost analyze you will find an ICE is far more economical.
If you are in the market for a new vehicle I would whole heartedly disagree. If I compare the price for this vehicle to comparable ice vehicles the the low cost of home charging, and far less maintenance. This EV comes out on top. The average cost of ice vehicles is around 45,000. You can get a Tesla for that with incentives and come out on top with charging and maintenance.
@@flex0.00 my car is 13 years old with 190000 miles. I’m skeptical an ev will go that long without a 15000 dollar battery replacement. And I only paid 13000 for my current car. I wish your math worked for me. I really do.
Have you looked into public transportation to make it even more economical than your 13K car? No insurance either and you could listen to your iPod while someone else drives the bus :)
After just one week of ownership is not possible to have an unbiased opinion about this car. I do Lyft with a Bolt EUV and I know what I am talking about! Wait for 6 months and after that tell us your opinion!

One reason I pick the car was size
It’s right size for one person
I did not want big car for trips to work and home
Plus fun to drive

What makes people addicted to EVs is One-Pedal Driving. It takes out a lot of stress during city driving.
One pedal is pretty much my favorite thing about the car, maybe just behind not going to the gas station.
I worry it won't be big enough for two adults, luggage and two small dogs but man its a great car!
With the seats in the back down it has a lot of space. Plus the under trunk space. Pretty impressive everything that was included in this vehicle
Another bonus? It has a quick opening MANUAL hatch. Most electric hatch releases are so SLOW.
