Of all the games that were released on the Switch, this is the one that finally made me get one. As much of a pain as rubber banding is, it's still Cruis'n, and it is definitely a blast.

The guy didn't mention all the keys you find on the tracks and bundles of cash you find as well!!! So this game has plenty more content than what he says!!!!!!! :( How about mentioning that Eugene Jarvis who worked on every Cruis'n game to date also worked on this one!!!!!!! :(
it looks pretty but there really isn't a lot of substance to it, with no real hinderance to hitting anything or damage, no real skill needed to play it it just gets boring quickly. Even arcade racers need some skill to play, this just takes that necessity away and your left with cars that never really leave you, a drift mechanical, pretty looking, cyberpunk esteemed "demo" . If there was some way of damaging your car, or the feeling of being in 1st place and getting there, with better opponent AI, this would be great. Maybe I've missed the point but hot wheels would be a better purchase and that's almost the same, better though. This is great for younger players however

Not played this new one, but compared to the prior entries in the series, the A.I. rubber-banding leans closer to Mario Kart, but it shouldn't be anywhere near as grindy, since this series dates back to the before-times, in the long ago, before free2play/pay2win/pay2play/paymore2win became the business model for every arcade racer not called Forza Horizon...
Didn't know there was a break button. Bit of a worrying comment to make even in a review of an all out arcade driving game. Even if you rarely need it you will at some point. Also comments on lack of arcade racers yet links to Hot Shot Racing and Hot Wheels at the end. There still out there. Horizon Chase Turbo. Even Forza Horizon 5 and Dirt 5 are more arcade than sim

Beetle Adventure Racing was one of those games where most people overlooked it because of the name, but was actually one of the best racers on N64

Many of us do! We gave it the #21 spot in our recent Nintendo 64 Top 25. Such a creative and fun, but sadly almost forgotten racer.

frame are all over the place with this game. jumps to 30 fps every 15 seconds, not worth mentioning the 60 when it isn't close to stable.
